Poll: Ratchet and Clank: Which is the best game in your opinion?

Now, while Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time is by far one of the best in the series. I want to know form the Ratchet and Clank fans here is what game stood out from the rest for you in terms of innovation in weapons and level design that just astounded you and made you just keep on playing. Now I know Insomniac doesn't fail on creativity so I will admit that I think all of the games are pretty cool on their own due that they are bring something different to the the table but A Crack in time brought the best of all of them in a sense.

Ratchet & Clank, certainly beats Jak & Daxter IMO

anyway, the first, second and third were my absolute favorites.

Well, out of the ones I've played, I think the first 'un is the best, although Up Your Arsenal is pretty damn awesome. I just love the first one's flair and creativity, and the wonderful universe created for it.

tbh i thought a crack in time was the worst one out of all of them gameplay was fantastic but it was ridiculously short and way too easy even on hard challenge mode going commando ftw!

Up Your Arsenal is one of my favorite games of all time.
Going Commando is a close second though, then Tools of Destruction.

I disagree wholeheartedly. I havent gotten to PLAY crack in time yet, but i do know its story and that it hasnt done away with the leveling weapons. Therefore there is no WAY it can be the best. The whole RCF storyline has been ridiculous and bad. Ratchet and Clank is NOT a grand epic! RaC is a fun silly platformer with explosions. That is what is fun about the game. I had more fun playing Quest for Booty than I did in the whole of Tools of Destruction.

You are WRONG and so is everyone else that thinks like this is also wrong. This wrongness will perpetuate what has been wrong with every sequel that has been made.

I will buy Crack in Time, and I will ENJOY it, but I will never enjoy the series as much as I did the first one.

Plus, what happened to sweet grindrails, huh?

I loved every one of them, but I'd have to say Up Your Arsenal is my favorite, with going Commando as a close second.

Up Your Arsenal is my absolute FAVORITE Ratchet and Clank game out there.

It combined a huge variety of unique weapons, upgraded to even more awesome weapons, had hover bike races, 3D space-ship sequences where you basically flew around on all axes, the arena was AWESOME I even beat the Impossible Challenge (60 waves of absolute hell...the strategy is to level up while going through the waves!)...

Overall it was an awesome game. I still love the Ratchet and Clank games with all my heart, but Up Your Arsenal holds a special place in my heart.

Although 1 for the wow factor of the training/opening level, never seen a city that huge in a game before, marvellous.

I've play them all... 'cept the psp ones. R&C3 was the best for me. They should have left the names consistant, trying to figure out which is which for me is annoying.

Easily Up your arsenal. It introduced the best upgrade system to date, it didn't screw any of the good gameplay mechanics, and only added good ones. It had an epic storyline, and introduced space battles. I loved it.

BTW in my country they are named differently:

Ratchet and Clank
Ratchet and Clank 2
Ratchet and Clank 3
Ratchet:Gladiator
Ratchet and Clank:size matters
Ratchet and clank:Quest for booty
Ratchet and Clank:A crack in time

Just thought I'd make that interesting point.

2 was the absolute best. It still felt like more of a platformer, but it had enough shooty boomy fun to counter it. I haven't played the PS3 games, so I can't speak for them, but the series seemed to head more towards the action side of the spectrum after 2.

...and introduced space battles.

R&C 2 did that.

Since i've only played up to tools of destruction. i'm not to keen to vote..... just yet.... but im hoping that a crack in time kicks ass! (when eventually obtain the blasted thing!)

at the moment my favourite would have to be up your arsenal. since it was so dam FUNNY! but that is true for the entire series.
