i'm on the fence of buying or RE5 Gold Edition. My Copy of RE5 is in great condition and I hardly play it now, yet i was considering tradeing it in for the gold edition. However the gold edition is $50 for it and, lets say if i trade in my copy to gamestop, i would see about $10 back so it would knock the price down to say $40

However I check and the only thing that the gold edition come with, for the 360 version, is a token for all the DLC to download. After reading that i checked out the "price" for the DLC and it comes out to around 1600 ms points (rounded up for the ms points pre-paid cards).

Doing the math i figured out that after i'd be paying and extra $20 for the gold edition rather than just $20 for the dlc. Onlything i'm not sure is the new Mercenaries Reunion with 8 new players to use will be part of an upcoming dlc, however i'm not sure that it's around an extra $20 investment. I don't know, what you guys think?

I'd say to just buy the DLC but it really depends on how much RE5 you plan on playing and how much fun you have with mercenaires mode.

Is the DLC the only difference between the gold and regular retail version? If it is then save yourself 20 dollars and buy the DLC.

This is probably just my opinion, but I say don't waste your money on RE5 unless they bring back the attache case and improve sheva's A.I.
