After seeing what they're capable of in Princess and the Frog, hell yes. That movie was the bomb, even for a teenage guy.
I thought it was ok, the only bit I really loved was Dr Faciliers song

What about The Princess and the Frog? And Tangled? Before you correct me on the last one, let me point out two things:

1: The story and writing had a very 'classic Disney' feel.

2: The characters, buildings and general art direction are very similar in style to those Disney Princess movies from years before. Honestly, if it were hand drawn it wouldn't make a difference.

I can't really say since I?m not their target audience. The target audience is the younger generation which pretty much we don't have a say in it. While we do have something to say, it is merely out for nostalgia. If the younger generation love the current shows then it shouldn't really matter what we say even if it look crap to us. All that matter if they enjoy watching it.

I don't think the problem is Disney in itself... I just think their target audience isn't interested in the 'classic' Disney anymore. For whatever reason.
After looking at younglings around the age of 7-10(or 12) they don't like watching classic Disney. my brother just go off sleeping during a classic Disney movie....... it annoy me so much.

the last kick ass disney cartoon was treasure planet
Amen to that. Princess and the Frog was ok, but Treasure Planet truly ranked as kick-ass. Still does.

OT: Disney can't go back to their roots right now. They're busy castrating Marvel.

I think youve got it, Im in my early twenties so I think that the audience is deffinatly different. Even in fairly modern times its chagne alot.

Compare Lizzy Maguire and Thats so Raven to Zack and Cody or Hanna Montana. There is a certian difference in the feel of the shows. Mind you they arnt all bad, The wizard of waverly place and Phinous and Ferb are great shows in there own right and are probelly better than some of the shows from yester year.

And If you wondering why I know so much about show now its beucase I have a tween sister and a bunch a little cousins that I must baby sit.

But on a side note, I think the little kids shows have improved in production quality... just saying...

NO.

Disney should just let Pixar do it, since the actual Dinsey brand of animation is marred with stupidity and the spreading of some really regressive ideas.
I agree. And it's not like Pixar is getting the credit for making those movies anyway - the number of times I told customers at work that the Disney film they're looking for is actually in the Pixar section very nearly made me homicidal.

If anything, the new film Tangled does have some funny moments. Even if deep inside you think your watching a mix of Dreamworks' Road to Eldorado, Sinbad and Shrek...
