Poll: Really Good Bacon: A Discussion.

I notice, on occasion, that there are polls that will have the mention of bacon along with all the other answers, just at random. I also see the mention of bacon here on the Escapist quite alot. It's understandable to me that bacon is awesome, but I wish to know why the bacon phenomenon is so thoroughly permeated through the site at large. Bacon, bacon... Why for art thou talking bacon?

This now is...The Bacon Debate. Tell me what is on your mind, regarding bacon. Why the bacon? Where the bacon? When, what, and WHO the bacon? And how? Feel free to deliver in-depth discussion on the subject or, in fact, to just gibber on in an entertaining fashion.

It varies. I've seen it done both ways. You go to your local place, whether it's a chain or not, and order up. You go to another place in a different neighborhood, maybe not in a chain at all, and order up. Will they do it identical? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe they have no ham at the time, but bacon is from the same animal. You never know, but there's no worries, because the pineapple complements it well.

Thanks to this thread, "bacon" no longer looks looks like a real word to me. This will likely bother me for days to come, congratulations.

Also, the only place where bacon is not welcome is on a pizza. Hawaiian pizzas are an abomination and an insult to bacon-containing products everywhere.
