I haven't played Super Mario Galaxy 2 - heck, I haven't even played the first one - but I doubt it'll be as much of a gigantic snore fest that RDR turned out to be.

So, I'd go for Mario.

I bought Mario Galaxy 2 the day it came back and am never looking back. It is absolutely incredible and noticeably more difficult than the original. Definitely deserves all the great reviews it is getting and is a game you should pick up right now.

Simple.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 now. Nintendo games don't really go down in price. After you are done SMG 2 you can probably get Red Dead used or at least less than the current new release price.

Its a Red Dead vote for me, a little biased seeing as I've not played SMG2

I don't really know, I'm kinda in the same boat as you. Although if I do go for Red Dead, it'll have to be the 360 version. I can probably only afford to spare the funds to get one right now, but I can't decide which one.

That depends, do you want some fallout style (not fallout but somewhat similar) play before you get fallout? If so get RDR. Are your worried that that will burn you out for Fallout? If so get SMG2.

I personally like Red Dead Redemption. I feel SMG2 (feel like im talking bout a gun) has been done before. Not that it's bad, you really can't go wrong with either. But Red Dead Redemption just seems so fresh to me. It's not often that a game is able to capture a period of time very well. Red Dead Redemption captures the death throes of the Old West beautifully while putting forth a very fun game. It's really a blast.

SMG2! It's glorious. Or, rather, I'm sure it will be...gonna be a week or two before I can get it myself.

A great sandbox western game from "sandbox masters" Rockstar, or another Mario 64 remake? Too easy.

Git'ya up pardner!

Super Mario Galaxy then, you're to young to play RDR :>
I'm fairly mature for my age which ends up alienating all the gormless tits at my school. And don't tell me you waited till you were 18 till you bought a certain game or film.

I'm saving up in order to fulfill my dream of becoming a PC gamer but before I start I just need to get one more game to last me until Fallout: New Vegas and I can't choose between Red Dead Redemption (for PS3) or Super Mario galxy 2. On the one hand Red Dead could last me some time if I get into it but on the other hand my wii desperately needs Mario Galxy 2 to stay alive. The last game I bought for it was Brawl. I also loved the first Mario Galaxy. What is your opinion on this? What should I get?
If your saving up wouldn't buying one of these games be counter productive? Anyway I say you buy SMG 2

I'd say Red Dead Redemption but my opinion here is far too bias for you to trust. I've only played the very beginning of the first Galaxy when I played on my friends Wii, since I've got the Wii myself I haven't went out and bought it or played it properly so my opinion is void.

I do like how we're all cheering for RDR rather then the lot of us crying saying "it's over-rated shit" like we all usually do. I think it's a pretty good game with a brilliant story. Though I fear once Yahtzee reviews it and (more then likely) rips it to shit, where going to have a good amount of commenter's giving it the whole "OVER-RATED" speech.
