No. I've been playing it and at the moment I'm loosing interest because I'm not really sure what the bloody hell I'm supposed to be doing. It's almost enough to make me miss Navi from LoZ:OoT. Sure she was annoying, but at least she kept you up to date on what the hell it was you needed to do to finish the bloody game.
And can somebody please tell me where the fuck I'm supposed to get a bloody lasso.

One of the more enjoyable and immersive games I've played, but then again I have patience with those kind of games and can just kick back and let it suck me in. Excellent ending as well.

I hated the game honestly. I couldn't stand the controls, riding the horse is not fun at all. I got to the part where you had to herd the cattle and when they said you must weave back and forth I turned the game off and put in Dragon Age. Plus you character has one of the gayest runs I have ever seen. I didn't want to run, because his sprint bothered me so much.

BLASPHEMY! BURN THE HERETIC! BURN HIM AT TH-Dragon Age? Well I guess you're not ALL wrong.... :D

OP: Hell to the yes. One of my favorite games of the current console generation hands-down.

It personally wasn't to my liking simply because it shared controls with GTA in which you can basically just kill enemies by rapidly tapping the fire button and then the button for auto-aim whenever they're down. Alright yeah you can tweak your aim but I just don't like the game having to shoot for me. If the aiming was like Saint's Row or any other third person shooter I'd have gotten into it so much more

I liked the characters but the controls just made me want to cut my hands off.

I enjoyed this game a lot, but do I think it lives up to the hype? Is this the 9.5 everybody seems to praise it as? ...Nah. More like an 8.0 in my opinion. Good, but not amazing.

Well, it sold infinity billion copies and recieved stellar reviews across the board, so it certainly lived up to the hype, whether you personally thought it was worth it or not. It was an unqualified success.

I never followed any of the hype so I couldn't say anything about that although I love the game. The combat is pretty basic and suffers from lack of zoom. The missions are also hideously straightforward but it tells a great story with engaging, well defined characters and it's a joy to explore.

It's absolutely worth the hype it got. Western games haven't been good in general, but Red Dead managed to be a great Western game and a great game overall. I honestly got bored with GTA, but, for some reason, the desolate nature of the world of Red Dead was far more interesting to explore than Liberty City. Plus, online and co-op in free roam don't hurt one bit.

it does start out bad but after a while it becomes really fun playing online multiplayer at the moment doesn't really have much in it apart from some gang hideouts and co-op missions but they are going to bring out quite a bit of dlc and i'm going to pick the things that sound most fun (zombies).

I'm not really that far into it and I am bored with it. I just can't be bothered to play it. The game is incredible don't get me wrong, but it is also very monotonous.

Didn't think GTA IV deserved the hype it got, so I didn't bother with this. I asked my friend about it and he responded "GTA in the Wild West" so I think my decision was justified.
