Yeah I'll probably get it but doubt it'll be on launch day.Looks to be a massive improvement on the first from what I've seen.Strange that there's no reviews yet though considering it's out so soon
Well, there is one review from a pirated copy, if that means anything to you: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=69a909d9cf695a4c0dda04fa539e3881&showtopic=213853&pid=2666658&st=0&#entry2666658
Thanks.Sounds good.

Looks pretty fun, but the setting doesn't tickle my fancy, particularly how all the levels on display on the videos you've shown have a very limited colour regime.

Also, I'm quite weary of giving any money to Ubisoft after the way they've treated us PC gamers lately.

Cell shading is always a bit hit-and-miss for me. I just don't find killing things satisfying unless its either gory or amusing.

Really looking forward to this one. I agree with everyone else; Red Steel 1 was such a letdown, but I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially when you considering just how starved of original, innovative, and dare I say fun games the Wii is once you exclude everything that has Mario in it. Games that involve you running through a dude in a mask with a sword, flipping him up in the air, then seeing that gravity is clearly incapable of the finisher you want, and sending him back down again with a shotgun are okay in my book.

I mean really, there have to be rules against being that cool.

Totally going to get this when it comes out.

I genuinely enjoyed the first game despite what other people said about it, and as such I was very excited to hear about a sequel that barely is a sequel. Reworked game play, new interesting story, cool looking cell shaded graphics, it just looks like it will be a good game. So yeah Ive pre-ordered and plan on getting it opening day.

Well, quite a few are willing to at least give the game a chance. That is much better than I expected (although Hell No is the highest voted so far)! Now who wants to bet that Ubi drops the ball by completely ignoring the game in regards to advertisement?

What I like about the looks of this game is that it looks to be one of the first well done FPS (first-person-swordfighter) games made. I'm honestly getting sick of all these monotonous CoD and Halo sequels. I think that maybe just having the combat be more melee than gun based will be what gives this game appeal over titles like CoD and the like.

Sequel to a Game of the Decade candidate. Really. That first one was pure gaming gold. And this is JUST THE INTRODUCTION TO THE OPPOSITES...

I'm gonna try and pick it up on launch, but I didn't pre-order.
I like the idea of a samurai gunslinger, since the two are virtually interchangeable.

Red Steel 1 was too much of a let down for me.

I could not finish the game because of the god damn sword fights, how hard is it to drop my broken sword and wield a gosh darn pistol! *block* *double tap* *done*
amen, bro, and playing on a slightly delayed HDTV, those where an absolute pain, espicially when the wiimot doesn't block when you move the arm to do so.

and the turning in fast pace...ugh

major letdown for me, though it was going to be epic.

really don't like the look of this new one (visually and mechanically), hell, why even call it red steel 2, other than guns and swords, there is little in common.

Devs do it all the time, it's to pull in the people who liked their previous game to their new game.

Example: FarCry 1, and Far Cry 2. Nothing in common what so ever.

I'll be skipping it. I was intrigued when Red Steel came out but was unimpressed after trying it and don't care to play the new one.

I've heard it uses the Motion+, which I absolutely love. The concept looks pretty darn cool. And those videos are awesome.

I probably won't buy it right away (I just picked up No More Heroes, and I'm getting Naruto Shippuden: CoNR 3), but I will buy it.

It looks interesting, I'll probably get it over the summer if the controls actually work properly. I don't doubt the functionality of the motion+, but I am somewhat skeptical of the whole concept of motion control sword combat and of developers' ability to create AI that can respond to it correctly.
