Honestly, I had no idea RvB was still going until recently. I figured BGC's conclusion was the grand finale, so I simply stopped watching. Based on the little I've seen and heard since then, I think I'm good with that. Hell, I'd say the series started its decline during the later BGC episodes. I never did care much for the backstory and plot surrounding Tex, as it seemed jarringly out of place compared to the more irreverent atmosphere surrounding the Reds and Blues. That didn't stop it from gradually muscling its way into the narrative though, until it started becoming the focus rather than a diversion. It's the same vibe I got from those godawful sketches internet reviewers like the Nostalgia Critic have succumbed to over the years.
Characters start taking off their helmets in later seasons?! Blasphemy!
Oh God wat.Fractral said:Project Freelancer was where I stopped watching. The blood gulch bit with church was alright, but the actual project freelancer bit was so appallingly bad I couldn't watch it without cringing. The story was dumb, the characters were boring at best and vomit-inducing at worst and my god were some of the designs atrocious. Carolina in particular looks like she was designed by a 13- year old. She's supposed to be a trained soldier- why does she need an emo fringe? The entire past bit was so fucking bad it actually made me embarrassed to watch.

If you can't tell, I liked the original seasons best.
