ok ok. It's not really my thing. I'm not really one for mellow music outside of some chilled out electronic stuff, and even the lively stuff doesn't really speak to me. Personal preferences: How do they work?!

When I see reggae I think of the sauce(it's so good you have to say it twice!)

I've heard a song or two that I don't mind, but for the most part it isn't my thing. As for their message, meh again. You don't force me to listen to it and I could not give a crap about the whole style of music.

Reggae, like any other genre of music, can be either really good or really bad. I like to listen to it when I'm trying to chill out... and no, I don't mean smoke...

I'm so metal that I get strip searched whenever I visit the states, but even I enjoy a little reggae from time to time. Exodus by Bob Marley is probably my favourite reggae album to listen to at house parties, not just because there's usually a lot of weed - but because most people seem to like ol' MarleyBob, even the people that claim not to always wind up enjoying themselves in the end.

I think it's pretty cool. It's fun to play and hear with all the rhythm, but I never get around to listening to it in my free time.

I love me some Dub and Reggae. It's more than Marley, mon, there's a whole spectrum of music born out of that mentality. Makes for some chill liquid beats, as well.

Thievery Corporation, Dr Israel & Seven, Bluetech, and a few more of my favorite artists either prominently work in or have dabbled with this kind of music, to spectacular effect.

It's good stuff And no, I don't think being stoned is mandatory for your listening pleasure.
