I have been with my girlfriend for 3 months now...and i am 15 and am in no doubt i love her-genuinely not "puppy love".

All this relationship melarky is bloody difficult though...it's taxing, but for me it's worth it to see her and be with her and i go out of my way to make her happy. I love it, and the stress it brings is just one of those annoying and occasional side effects.

What do people think? Relationships-worth the trouble, too much fuss, not for you, or couldn't live without her/him?

~sigh~ I miss being in a relationship, I think they're worth all the trouble in the world if you truly love the person you're with.

Oooh oh oh oh. Relationships are awesome - ask my fiancée(Smug look)
Unless you're not in one... In which case all notice of relationships can fuck off and die.

I think that many are worth the trouble, but many couples today don't give it their all. I just hope that I can have the will to go on if I love the girl I'm w/ and that she'll care about me enough to try.

Maybe I've just been turned cold, but I mean I don't get relationships at all, random sex is what it's all about.

I've had very little experience, but from what I've got it seems like no trouble at all. Not yet anyway.

Telling my folks could be difficult though.

Where is the option for "I've never been in a real relationship because I am an angry, unlovable person"?

This, but I couldn't word it well. Thanks SmilingK!
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I can't speak from experience, though, since I've been single my whole life... :(

Another option: Relationships are simple, can someone tell me whats so complicated. Yes multiple relationships are viticulture. but other than that I don't see why everyone things its so damn hard.

Also you should know that everyone at 15 says it isn't puppy love. Guess what most are wrong, I was.

Dude .. Just .. Dude. Random sex is not worth it

Uuuh . On topic. I had a girlfriend I loved more than anything. And at that time, I was sure it'd last forever and all that crap. Back then I thought it was worth it. Now? No. If I was a regular person, sure. It could have been worth it. But I'm not. And I work on a vessel. Wich wouldn't be fair for any of the parts involved. So .. No, I don't think it's worth it for my part. I do however love seeing poeple being happy in their relationships. Especially if they're close to me.

Bottom line. It's worth it, if there is something big enough there. But I don't find any need of being in a relationship. It would also be vey much like impossible in my situation

Maybe if I was actually in a relationship I would know... But from my past experiences... it's too much trouble.

Lol good point. Heres my answer:

The only hard part for me is the feeling i get when im not with her...i have ways to sort it but it is still there...also, i constantly get the feeling i am not doing enough which is silly cause she tells me i am. I get loads of little random feelings, but its all worth it for the happiness it brings me, and the happiness i bring her...

*Weeps a little*
LOL

Congratulations OP!

It all depends on the person you're with. Since I'm single, I'm sure you appreciate the apparent cynicism when I believe that it's a trade-off, rather than a "found true love = concessions but it's okay" type thing. Instead, keep track of how taxing it is and what you get from it in return. When the balance is spiraling down into the negative, just fuck it.

And not to burst your bubble, but this is a valuable life lesson: you should probably keep that little nugget o' wisdom with you. I really hope you'll grow old and ugly together and have a lot of bratty ungrateful kids :) But ALWAYS bear in mind that relationships are more about happiness than sacrifice.
