Well as fun as RE4 was my 1st time I'm grabbing the DLC for FNV because the trailer looks good and I just generally really like that game.

Lonesome Road, man. If you've been keeping up with New Vegas so far, how can you resist it?

LONESOME F**KIN' ROAD!

Seriously, I am jumping in my seat in excitement for the new DLC!

Although RE4 IS a good game, no doubt.

Resident Evil 4.

I've had New Vegas for about 3 months and I cannot bring myself to actually putting time into it.

Besides, RES 4 was the shit.

If you are into New Vegas, might as well cap it off with Lonesome Road. However, if you aren't bothering with DLC or don't have NV, go for RE4. ESPECIALLY if you haven't played it yet. Its easily in my top 10 list of action games.

I'd say Lonesome Road. While RE4 is really fun, I'd rather get something new to explore.

Lonesome Road, due to the fact I got all the other DLC, but I was expecting a DLC that continues the main game, I mean, come on I got the awesome NCR armor in that last mission and I cannot even play with it after that mission finishes.

COME ON MAKE A CONTINUING DLC!

Getting Lonesome Road. It seems to be the most interesting DLC of FO:NV, and its written by Chris Avellone(one of the best videogame writers). I'm very much looking forward to tuesday.

I already explained why you can't have post-ending gameplay, and personally I think it's better to stay this way.

Well, I don't know what does the HD release of RE4 will include, but judging only by the base game (GameCube version) without all the extras of the PS2/Wii versions (let's pretend the PC version never existed), it's a very big game with incredible replay value vs extra content for an already huge game that will last at the very least, like 5 to 6 hours.

Even if I've already finished RE4 like 8 times in 3 different platforms, I'd buy it again without hesitation only for the HD gimmick novelty.

Later, I'd pick the Lonesome Road. I'd definitively pick both.

I think this is a silly comparision, your comparing DLC to a full game which even by todays standards is still alot better then stuff thats out at the moment.
Of course I'd go for RE4, that game was the fucking best action game ever made, I remember playing it back in 05 it scared the absolute shit out of me. I've passed the game to many time to remember, but I'd still buy it again to play it in lovely HD.
On a general scale, RE4 would have to be a better deal, I mean, full game + mercernaries + costumes + replay on harder modes lets not also forget Ada's side mission and mini campaign. It would have a longer lifespan then the DLC.

It would be nice if you stopped ruining my dreams.

Edit: A world where I have the NCR combat armor without getting to the safe house (Cant get the key because I allied the NCR with the Brotherhood and have become Good Natured Rachel, whats with that!) or killing anyone.
Thats my dream.

Well Col. Moore hates the BoS, so that explains the reputation loss (it's pretty easy to get back up though).

Also, you could just get the Desert Ranger Combat Armour in Honest Hearts, which has a different design and stronger stats.

I've had 800 MS points stitting on my account for a couple of months just for Lonesome Road. I can't wait!
I might get Res4 at a later date.
