It looks a hell of a lot better than most of the trash that comes through Greenlight, but that being said, does it look good?

Ha! Have you watched the trailer? The assets look like they were ripped straight from a low budget TV advert, and the voice acting is hit and miss at best. At least the animations look okay, so at least I can give it that.

Also, why does the main character look like she is wearing Miranda's (Mass Effect 2/3) costume, but just green instead of black?

Yeah, with greenlight "Downvotes" don't actually count for anything.

This essentially means that any game can get through the process with a minor amount of attention. So, it's kinda surprising this took so long given the situation around it.

However, votes aren't sales. And ultimately, I'm not sure anyone will actually buy this.

I guess being released on steam proper will open it up for reviews. and hopefully from those the team behind it can learn a thing or two about how to make a game people will actually want to buy.

Oh wow they look like rejected Jet Force Gemini models with a slightly higher resolution. So janky...

Also I love how on the PC they changed the touch control interface for "typing out words evocative of the emotions you're supposed to be feeling!"

It's been described it as,""Heavy Rain meets Mass Effect"
Hmmm... I would have hoped they would have proofread it before

Well, the gameplay reminds me of Typing of the Dead but with a lot less charm to it

I'll be looking forward for Jim to play it ;)

Who's Brianna Wu? From the other posts I'm guessing she's a rather polarising figure.
Anyway, it's an IOS port, so that's minus one point. The description tells me that it's a cross between heavy rain, an interactive film, and Mass Effect, an RPG shooter, while the trailer shows turn based combat, and it's listed as action adventure, so I'm not sure if the developer doesn't know their genre, or it's a mess of them, or seamlessly mixes them, though I doubt it is the later. The animation seems a bit jittery, and the I'm not particularly fond of the art-style, though who I assume to be the main character appears to have stolen an alternate outfit of Miranda's from mass effect 2 that didn't make it into the game. Also, while the voice acting is alright, the lines seem a little cliche in certain areas. So no, I suppose not.

Eh...I don't like the look of the design. It looks like a game from ten years ago, and not a good one at that.

Then again I still don't know who Wu really is, or why she pisses so many people off to the point where I see plenty of transphobic slurs thrown at her.
No one ever deserves the abuse that has been levied against that woman, but you can't really defend someone from being stung when all they seem to do is kick over bee hives.

Aaand back on topic, it's an IoS port isn't it? So yeah, unless I hear some pretty amazing things I'll probably be ignoring it.

Err the graphic style remind me of this 3d hentai game of the past (what?).

Other than that I hve no interest in it at all.

I think she might have had some inspiration from Mass Effect at one point. I forgot where I read that though. Oh Wait:

?Revolution 60 is a complex cinematic experience, where story and choice are paramount, as players make moral choices that decide the fate of heroine Holiday. Influenced heavily by classic TV shows such as 24, as it does to anime and game changing interactive entertainment classics Heavy Rain and Mass Effect, Revolution 60 tell a short intense story built around touch controls.A successful Kickstarter campaign will allow the Giant Spacekat team to complete development and polish the game so that we can give every scene ? each with countless details in music, models, voice acting and animation ? compelling, emotional resonance? Also Blaze might I suggest some sources on that accusation of yours?

At best someone might pick it up during a steam sale to play it during a joke review. I know you pretty much need to be on steam to get sales on the PC, but I don't think she realizes being on steam doesn't mean people just buy things because.

On a more technical side of things, apparently this is going around, https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B9LNAq0CAAAN0vG.jpg ,I am not sure if the people posting it are right. But they claim it would count as soliciting or begging, which is apparently against the green light terms of service. ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/editgame/?appid=765 for rules). My only problem with this is that other things have been taken off the service for no reason, that went through green light and did everything they would have had to. It seems a bit hypocritical.

Edit - After doing a bit more looking into it some years says the game cannot contain begging, or soliciting. I am not sure if that is the correct interpretation of it or not, could be.

Edit 2 - For those interested and not in the know about how Green light works. Hitting no, does not mean you get a vote against your product. It just removes it from their green light vote queue. It has no affect on if the game gets onto steam. Only the amount of "Yes I am interested" Votes is counted towards that or not. Though apparently the person who submitted the game can see how many nos and yes votes they got.

I really wish the 7 people who said they were interested had commented because I really want to know what redeeming features this could possibly have. It looks atrocious.

Not enough to say. Story, gameplay, neither was front and center in the trailer. I honestly can't say the game is bad by what's shown, the trailer is terribly done.

I am amazed there are so many who still blow something off if it doesn't meet some arbitrary graphics threshold.

Wasn't there a claim that some people made a bunch of steam accounts to push this game through? On my phone right now so can't really research that but I think other game have had questionable greenlit speeds so dunno

this game looks pretty bad, but it reminds me about reboot, and thats some sweet nostalgia...

wasnt Briana Wu supposed to be a feminist or something? those are surely not character designs that seem in anyway progressive for women in games...

anyways, game looks like crap. I can say that and no one can put that on me being transphobic...

As far as I am aware the only person to describe the game as that was Wu herself during an interview.
