Ok what is with all the topics about Rickrolling all of a sudden? It was funny before it was played out.

I've been rickrolled about 8 or 10 times in my life. It annoys me but I don't care enough to hate it.

That's not the worst one. The worst one is where it opens in a popup window that can't be alt-F4'd and jumps around. And when you do hit the close button, you get a load of messages to click through.

I have to confess I actually linked to that one once on another forum via a a site that redirects (and thus hides) the original URL without making it obvious that you've done so - and then I put that link in the middle of a post full of awesome video links that my audience couldn't help but click on. The collective cries of "Damn you Gildan!!" a while later were rather amusing, and they learned a valuable lesson - don't give javascript permission to resize and move your windows around.

I've never actually been rickrolled myself though, since that requires following a link on the assumption that it is something else and somebody invariably points out those rickrolls by the time I get there, so I'm not surprised.
