Depends? Where are they fighting? Who has what equipment? Standard Robocop stuff vs. The Millennium Falcon? Are they arm wrestling? Or playing space chess? Mario Kart? Push ups?

Penis length?!?

Since Wookies are known to tear the arms off advanced load lifting, construction, battle droids, and just about anything that gets in their way when angered. Robocop wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell against Chewie in a hand to hand fight.

If they had their guns... Chewie is known to carry thermal detonators and other grenades and the fascinating weapon known as a wookie bow caster. Either version of Robocop wouldn't get a shot off before Chewbacca left a massive hole in him and a thermal detonator at his feet.

Hands down, the Wookie wins.

I agree. If no guns are involved, Chewie would have Robocop outclassed in strength, speed and martial skill.

In a fist to fist fight, Chewbacca.

In a ranged fight, Robocop , after watching that one death battle episode learnt that is quite the tank. So whether Robocop might just be able to survive the opening salvo, chewie on the other hand has no such hopes.

You gotta remember that Robocop basically works with modern earth tech, on the other hand Chewie has an energy weapon in his bow caster, which is supposed to do some stunning damage against even heavily armoured targets. Not to mention that thermal detonators are able to clear very large rooms with relative ease being basically a small proton bomb in the form of a hand grenade. Also factor in that Chewbacca's reaction speeds are going to be far faster than a rather primitive cyborg's.

Murphy would win. You see, Chewbacca IS strong, very strong, strong enough to start battering on a man. He's strong enough to, say, tackle him to the ground and start beating on him. But then...

STAB.

The spike he uses to interact with police computers comes out and he opens Chewbacca's whole torso up, or gets the neck like he did Clarence Boddicker. It's because he's mechanical enough to take the punishment and has an unexpected tool to use to his advantage. Chewie doesn't wear armor, AND he's not a tactician, unlike a Detroit Cyborg Cop.

You do realize the first thing a Wookie does is tear limbs off in close combat... Right?

No, that's what he does when he gets MAD, such as someone beating him at Chess or truly raising his hackles. The bad boy defaults to bashing when getting into the ultra-violence. That's generally due to the fact that punching's quicker than trying to tear apart anything and it took a jackhammer to undo Murphy's joints after it failed to puncture his armor. Come to think of it, bashing wouldn't work either. Remember the Cain fight? Where they were pummelling each other and both him and Murphy survived a fall from the OCP Building? Yeah, so I guess if Chewie had time to go at the guy with his tools, sure, but in a fight? Uh-uh.

Robocop. No question.

Both are seasoned fighters, smart, stronger than men, and handy with tools. I think it comes down to materials. Chewie is only flesh. Robocop is made of titanium, Kevlar, and the best hydraulics money can buy. The robot body withstands several thousand rounds of police ammo, a fall from the OCP building, full-on blows from a sledgehammer, any amount of shrapnel, and at least two hits from an assault cannon, and still has enough function left to dispense merry hell on his enemies. Chewie, on the other hand, seems to rely on the inconceivably poor accuracy of Imperial troops. With the auto-targeting suite, inaccuracy will not be an issue for Robo. Add in enhanced reflexes and he'll riddle the walking carpet with bullets before he can even get a shot off.

Chewie could recreate Cain's car-magnet ambush, or cheat and use the Falcon, but otherwise Murphy will win.
