well obviously those games are making quite a bit of money, so they are putting up songs that the majority must like im sure, otherwise can't do much, can't please everyone.

I understand your point, but a lot of these bands are so far underground it's ridiculous.
At the same time I'm all for lesser known bands getting a chance and it's great to see a diversity from The Jacksons through to At The Gates, but it's be nice if the choices were cyclical or even more varied weeks by week. Some mass appeal stuff, some genre stuff, some underground / up and coming bands and a few stone cold classic (seriously... still no Rainbow?!?!?!) That said... i fucking love Rock Band and it's always nice when a much loved song or band does turn up.
Don't forget, you can contact the bands themselves to sort it out with Rock Band Network.

I loathe both Guitar Hero and Rock Band equally. I hate most of the songs on both. If it's your favorite song, I hate it. I hate Nirvana, Muse, Interpol. Sure there are a couple Pat Benatar and Alice Cooper songs, but that's not enough.

No (In My OPINION) they are doing fine with what they got.

Besides with the Rock Band Network now here you can make suggestions.
Tell the band (Themselves, from there home site) that they should put there songs on.

Plus you can got to the rock band site and make suggestions too.

I was about to say, isn't that what Rock Band Network is?

Anyway, I think the selection is stellar as it is, I don't have nearly enough money to buy all the musics I want. Furthermore, if Harmonix aren't releasing your favourite obscure bands as DLC, it's probably because they want many people to buy each DLC.

OT: Don't really do much DLC but from what I've seen on there some of tracks are great, I mean who would have the thought The Shins music would get onto a massive game like that

I'm pretty sure that harmonix has provided a DLC music update every single week since the first RB came out. I'd have to confirm to be sure, but I know that was one of their promotional talking points as recently as 9 months ago.

Well, frankly on a "when you want it" basis...

But, you can get it "when you want it"..... it's right freaking there in the online store 24 hours a day. Although, I'm probably misinterpreting your comment.

Yeah, I meant that when you suggest a song, "they" tell you if it is possible and you download it when its ready, obviously after it has been made.
