Liara. Kaidan as a character makes watching paint dry seem more interesting. It's bad enough he speaks in that same tone, but he has no personality whatsoever.

Liara, absolutely. Kaiden's a whiny little *****, and he's not particularly useful either. Liara is bookish and sexy, the only way she could be any hotter is if she wore glasses. I stayed faithful to her all through ME2 rather than chase someone else. It might just be that I like blue girls, though, whatever the setting.

Ugh, Kaiden. I swear that guy has been bugging me ever since KOTOR, back when he was called Carth. One of the greatest things about Mass Effect is that you can actually kill him off this time.

So yeah... go with Liara or neither, and just take solace in the fact that he will be dead soon.

Sweet! I have been replaying it too! I spent my whole day playing it! I usually fall for Liara, and the idea of having a scene with female Shepard and Liara is too much to pass up!

Am I one of the only people that actually liked Kaiden?

He was a little too bothered about rules and fraternisation regulatins, but we worked through that. The bit where he and my Shep got interrupted was... frustrating. Could have cheerfully socked Joker for that. He took a little bit of warming to, but I brought him with me a few times, and kept talking to him, and he grew on me. Then it was bye bye Ashley...

I like Liara, don't get me wrong. But personally, I found her romance a little too quick to get started. If that makes sense.

Kaidan is fine and all, but why have sex with a human when you could be doing an alien? This seems a no-brainer for Sci-Fi to me. Plus Lair of the Shadowbroker is that much better when you get around to doing it in ME2.
