I picked Miranda. It just seems like the developers put a ton of time and effort into making her character a little more complex than your standard gaming fare.

Although, if I had to choose now, I would pick Jack. She is much more complex and seems like the end result would be well worth the work that you had to put in to get her to trust you.

If you have not seen the clip for romancing her, I high recommend doing so. Quite frankly I believe it is one of the best moments in the game from a character development stand point. They make you genuinely interested in Jack and her life, or rather that was my approach when having seen her romance. Miranda I like however my concern is she will remain snobbish afterward when exploring her insecurities about being perfect would be far more intriguing.

I never really thought about doing that. Its a good idea, and hopefully they will address it in ME3.

I had intended to stay faithful to Liara from the first game, but ended up courting Jack and Tali and after I got the same dialogue from Jack after every mission I thought that our chance was over(when apparently it wasnt) and just decided to go with Tali. Jack wasn't too crazy about me after I broke it off with her.

I didn't do anyone, my Shepard's heart still belongs to Ashley Williams. True they are a galaxy and two years apart but the message that she sent after the Horizon encounter gave him hope enough that he can be with her again. So I turned down the others and stayed the course and held out my hope for my Military Gal to return to me in Mass Effect 3.

That said, if I had been going to pick one, it would have been Jack. Because I initially didn't like her but then I see her romance scene on youtube and I was moved. She was the only one of the romances for a male where there seemed to be more than just 'sex' on the mind.

But still she still only gets the silver and as far as I'm concerned the scene where Shepard gazed at Ashley's picture had more emotion than any of the others. So I stuck with Ashley.

Sigh... I'll admit it, I'm a Talimancer. Though when I eventually get around to another playthrough, I shall be giving Jack a little more than a passing glance.

I forgot that she was based off a real person. I wonder if that means that one day she will accidentally be called Miranda... that could lead to some interesting problems.
