Mostly chose Tali because if I wanna see Miranda, aka Ivonne Strahovski or whateva it was, being hot I can just tune in on Chuck.

Ashely Williams. Thank you very much
I agree wholeheartedly and at the risk of sounding like a creepy nerd....
*wolf whistles*
"Now THAT'S a woman!"

So yeah I agree, everyone else can keep their Tali's and Liara's and Mirandas and Jacks and all that, Ash is all Vrex Shepard needs.

Also, welcome to the Escapist.

On male Shep, i tried to go for Jack, but I accidently broke it off D:, so I settled for Tali to get the achievement. I thought Jack was really awesome, what with all the crazy biotic powers, and I'm a sucker for those tats and DEM LIPS.

Tali was ok, a bit annoying, but I always thought of her more like an awesome cousin or something, someione who is really cool but is still somewhat in the sidelines. (Guess thats why I always recruit her last, except for Legion of course.)

And on my current femshep, I am romancing Thane, since he seemed like a real nice guy, and not to mention awesomely religious-y, without sounding like a moron.

I did have a minor conflict where I almost got with Garrus. Another time, I guess.

....y'know, re-reading this makes me think that I'm attracted to the whole "likes-to-kill-people-but-really-has-a-lot-of-commitment-issues/Kills-people-for-money-and-is-dead-inside-but-finds-love-close-to-death". I guess I am.

Tali. Best female character from the first one and still the best from the second one.

Jack for my paragon male. The romance scene, where they lie on the bed is heartbreaking to me. It's honestly one of the only romance options that I've seen in games that was worth a damn.

Thane for my paragon female, but I felt guilty all the time, because... you know. Dead wife. Fatal disease. Ruins the mood.

Miranda always seemed like fan service, especially with the uniform. Plus she's a "Cerberus *****".

Man, I do not get all the love for Tali. She always felt like a little sister that you really love and feel like you need to protect her. I want to give her a hug and a lollipop, not... give her a hug and a lollipop (... in bed).

By the way, why no option for Kelly? My lesbian renegade frowns upon your choices.

Mass Effect 2 has three female and three male options for the "Romance" sub-quest. You could also choose not to advance any of these quests, particularly if you wanted to maintain your character's existing relationship from Mass Effect.

Who did you pick? Post a comment saying why...
I cannot believe there was no choice for Legion...

DId you find it a bit... I dunno... creepy... no, wrong word... a bit off that they're hugging while she's crying makeup all over her face?

I mean come on, Shep, dude, the poor little psycho is crying. Wipe her eyes for God's sake, or at least hand her a hanky.

Yeah, I can't help wondering if the reason that Liara got left out of the party is to make sure that she survived until ME3...

I know that my choice isn't the " popular " choice but I prefer Jack. Here is my reasoning. Tali is a kiss ass , Miranda is a cheerleader and jack is more complex ( like most good characters are ). Now most people don't choose Jack due to her attitude , troubled past and or shaved head. I say most if not everyone has a troubled history to some extent what you do with that history will define you as a person NOT the history itself. Her " bad attitude " is due to the FACT she is being forced to work with the same organization that TORTURED her as a child. The fact that she can still do this despite her pain ( both emotional AND physical ) makes her strong. As I said some people don't like her for her shaved head. Now this is actually an aspect of the character I like. A character that steps out of the mold of society not just with philosophical sense but also a physical one. By doing what is considered the ultimate taboo a woman can do in that society ( that being to willingly go bald ). Most women in this society obsess over their hair yet she as a female character defies that culture and says " fuck you " by not having hair to obsess over she DOESN'T have an unhealthy obsession of physicality ( granted her interests aren't exactly " healthy " ). Her defiant personality and appearance makes her a challenging character to which sets her apart from the other characters to which will just blindly follow the leader as if they were cows being herded for the slaughter. Jack gives the series a sense of individuality to which it ultimately needs in the series. And between you and me I'm more attracted to someone that goes outside the crowd rather then follow ( and or blindly agree with ) a single individual like a bunch of mindless zombies.
