Poll: RP characters/ video game avatars

Hmm,it wasn't until I started to type my reply that I realized that you were talking about role-playing video games so I suppose I'll just talk about the characters I make for both the video game and the pen-and-paper form of RPGs.

In videogames, I don't tend to make a character that looks like me, though he will have some of my characteristics. He'll look rather unremarkable and have brown hair and brown eyes.

In pen-and-paper RPGs however, my character will look exactly like me. Though he wouldn't be overweight of course.

I mostly make a red-haired male then just use a default or normal looking face.

Well, I made my Mass Effect guy look a little a cross between Cary Grant and Freddie Mercury. Go figure.

My characters are all female, nothing too flashy. I usually get her to have short or tide up hair, either white or black, and try to select the most modest body. If it's at all possible she would where glasses, so darn cute.

Yeah, watching her slaughtered dozens and dozens of dudes is great.

I usually make a hugely muscled dude that's over 6 feet tall and generally has weird hair/skin color if those options are available.

Okay, it seems that some people have been a bit confused at first when looking at this thread, also I didn't make the scope of it wide enough, so I edited the name and question to be more fitting. The question now entails not only video game RPG characters, but also any customizable video game character and forum RP characters as well.
