Magic.
All its various forms.
I play Supportish roles in FF11 (SMN/WHM SMN/SCH SCH/WHM)
SP games I favor quick spellcasters.
(other)MP Usually mage classes that can backup heal/support.
Edit: When playing D&D I usually favor Divine spellcasting, usually starting Cleric, then moving on to other divine classes. (Ed 3.5 is where I stay)

I'm a mage-type because I like to burn/freeze things and find kiting amusing, especially in PvP (lulz at oldschool WoW Warriors slowly dying to level 1 Frostbolt).

All of them. I always find loopholes and multi-classing options that let me change my specialties at will. There is nothing more dangerous than someone who is supremely adaptable. Shape-shifting is fun, hehe.

Depends, either I make some warrior that could put the beatdown on leonidas or I make a strong wizard

Paladin - As either a tank/healer hybrid or a dps/healer hybrid. Able to self sustain in any situation vs huge amounts of enemies.

Paladins are badass :)

Uusually, I go with a good melee class.

If it's a game where you create a party, I tend to go with a heavy melee, a rogue, an offensive mage, and a cleric.

It was a hard choice between Charmander and Other, but i'm more of a rogue/mage kind of guy. Though sometimes I will delve into the Charmander class just so I can level up enough to become A CHARIZARD.

I prefer Ranger classes so I can pewpew stuff with my bow. If I choose a caster class, it's usually some kind of random support role that buffs other group members while healing and removing ailments.

Usually a thief, assassin or ranger type. Long and close range going for weak spots and criticals from hiding.
