I hope its just a rumor. I loved the Manhunt games and I hope to play the third on Xbox 360 or Wii because I don't have a PS3.

I really don't see why they would make another one, after the massive failure the second one turned out to be you'd think they'd learn to let it die.

These games were total shit that tried to capitalize on the survivor horror craze and used media buzz to garner attention.

They're primarily played by people with violence fetishes and immature 12 year olds thinking it will make them cool. So PS3 is the place to be then .

It is a bit of a weird signing. Unless it heightens the psychological angle I don't see how this suits the PS audience at all. If you're spending money on a Rockstar game would it be Manhunt 3? Which potentially could be banned all over.

It could well be that M$ doesn't want it. While they are all about the money, the release of Natal in conjunction with this could well send out the wrong signals about the New Family Console title that M$ seem to be going after and create more media uproar about a murder sim.
SONY, obviously will be happy for any fuss made around the PS3 and would want to retain that teen /mid 30's male market they've had since the PS1.
So it may not be exclusive by financial incentive but M$ getting cold feet. Which, ofcourse, would not augur well for any future 'mature titles' for the 360.

Thats true, people cant just enjoy playing the games they gotta feel like their special and are the only ones that get it coz they bought a specific system.

There were tons of flaws, but at the same time, I had a blast.

Manhunt(1) is probably one of my favourite games. Never got to play 2 as I didn't have a Wii/Ps2 at the time. I'd welcome a new one.
