campers are easy to find once they kill you once. Rushers are no worse then regular people with guns.
This! And once everyone realizes this and stops being whiny babies about both techniques because they don't know how to deal with them, the world will be a brighter place.

Rushing is a more legitimate strategy, because it puts you more in danger. Requires more skill one might say. A camper just has to sit there biding his time, until somebody falls into his web of death.
This
i hate campers so, so much

well, since I rush(I guess you could call it that anyway) I find campers really bad, even if I don't rush they're annoying.

I hate all equally, but it's more an annoyance of them trying to grief in a more subtle way than actual hatred.

For me it's more about this ongoing debate between realism and acceptable breaks in reality, and I often find that anyone who employs one single tactic will be the first to whine about someone who kills them being 'unrealistic.'

Snipers in real life do not camp, they snipe; pointmen in real life do not zerg rush, they advance. You wanna play the game without realism, that's fine by me and I'll adjust my tactics, you wanna play the game with realism, learn what that realism is before you start whining.

I usually play realistically, I read alot of strategy and find it works well in games, especially against the 99.999% of players who are idiotic noobs, I advance, cautiously. check corners, move from place 2 place and listen and watch carefully. it's the best way to play, tense yet releiving.

Well, a good camper is nigh impossible to get, but it's hard to walk away unscathed from a good rusher.

I say rushers, because sometimes, you can just leave the camper be.

I don't think either such type really exists...or at least people shouldn't be labelled as "cheap" for employing either tactic.

If you've got some idiot running full pelt towards your position, what's wrong with hiding behind a doorframe and splattering his brains over the wall when the idiot runs past? It saves you health and ammo.

If someone has found themselves in a bad position, or it'll help the rest of your team, what's wrong with a very loud, aggressive offensive that'll throw the enemy off balance (as many people panic when faced with a rush)?

What do I hate most? Neither, as I rarely play online - when playing with friends I just counter them. It's not exactly hard, what with the proliferation of sniper rifles, grenades and ordnance throughout most FPS games.

personally i like to randomly switch. nothing beats the reaction you get when after non stop rushing (more for FPS') you suddenly hide.... where did i go... are we just running around missing eachother? then as they cuatiously walk room to room, opening to opening a single shot to the head from above! and there i am perched like a ninja on a 1/2 inch of doorframe.
It works just as well the other way too. carefully preparing to storm my heavily fortified position planning out the next (failed) attack in detail in th vain attempt at clawing back some minor victory then all of a sudden i burst in a gigling scream dervish of bullets and grenades, the panicked return fire as effective as the inevitable bowel movement i just forced upon them.
Yes i am pretty damn evil

I dislike people who excessively camp, this is from a TF2 player who is utterly fed up with demomen and their stickies, that said, i think some camping is valid, just not to the point where it's bullshit like demomen and stickies. That said, if I were to go all out against camping and rushing, how would you play the game? Run from place to place, can't stop and shoot because that's camping, can't melee and get right up in your enemy's face because it's rushing. Damned either way.

I hate both. 1887 are fucking annoying but then again all akimbo can go fuck themselves. The tac-knife is bullshit but the care package glitch is even worse. Those kind of rushers can go fuck themselves. Go fuck yourselves assholes. Campers I hate alot. My blood just boils at the sound of the word. Go and die all of you fucking idiots.

Rushers in any game is a crazy good way to catch your opponents off guard. In Medal of Honor though I could just rush them back. Now that's some fun shit. Circling the map 20 times over NOT with overpowered weapons or bullshit inbalanced shit. But just with a submachine gun and your wits. Ah. Never fighting in the same place twice.

So yeah campers go fuck yourselves. Rushers with bullshit accessories can join them. Assholes
Knowing that it pisses people off is part of the reason why I rush. That, and I suck.

No idea waht a "rusher" is so I vote campers.

Mind you, I dont consider some one who sets up with a sniper rifle, to be a camper.

To me, a camper is someone who goes prone in the middle of a room with there gun sight on the door. Stuff like that pisses me off.

I don't really hate either of them. I'm a rusher myself, so naturally, I don't have a problem with them. I don't have anything against campers either. Both are legitimate strategies, because you can do them without cheating. If you hacked the game to go under, above, or around the map, though, you are a cheater. Since rushing and camping don't require hacks, I'm cool with both.

If you get killed by a rusher, it's your fault for not being prepared or observant enough to kill a guy running at you guns blazing.

If you get killed by a camper, unless you have x-ray vision (or a heartbeat sensor) you had no way of knowing what was coming.

Campers are cowards. Long live rushing.

I try to play tactically, I watch my corners, stay away from high traffic areas (including all the back routes sneaky players frequent) and watch all the spots I know people like to camp in.

Lately, Barrett with an ACOG puts rushers in their place and motivates campers to find a better hiding spot. sleight of hand pro and commando make it pretty easy to get a shot on someone I stumble across or stab them.
