Console version is plenty buggy trust me. Though I'm sure the PC one is worse. As for a recommendation, I played the hell out of it with a friend, and it was one of the best game's ever. Wasn't all that interesting on single player though, that's probly a personal thing thoughThe_root_of_all_evil said:
It all depends really. If your going to trade it on the PC, don't even bother, SR2 was pretty terrible on the PC (aside from the fun little mods and stuff here and there), and it was the control that killed it.
If it's for the console, there is only one factor you have to consider; Do you have any other friends who have it? It's worth the trade alone, i'm not going to lie, but if you have a friend or two who has the game, it makes it about a thousand times better and funnier just driving around and doing random things like beating up civilians, throwing objects at people, doing crazy stunts, sky-diving off of buildings and out of planes and helicopters, and my personal favorite, 'Plane-jousting'.
So, all in all, if your going to get it for the console, by all means trade it in, and cross your fingers hoping that a friend has it too. If it's for the PC, don't bother, and try another game instead

I had tons of fun with this game, I can only recommend it (Unless you like realism and are allergic to silly humour). It's basically a screw around version of GTA with less story and realism and more customization.
Depends on the system, I guess. I, for one, didn't encounter any bugs and the performance was very good, too. Maybe I just got lucky, who knows.Overlord93 said:
I bought both GTA IV and SR2 on release days. GTA IV has long since been traded in. SR2 is still one of my favourite games, and my gf thinks its fun to play.

I've played SR2 for over 200 hours and my little sister has added 40 more to that, so yes I think it's totally worth your money and keep an eye out for saints row the third.
That actually sums it up pretty nicely. Hell, I'd even go so far as to say the original Saint's Row is worth your time more so than the last few Grand Theft Auto titles. See if you can pick up the two-pack if you're shopping for the console version. I'm sure the PC version also has a two-pack but I dunno.Racecarlock said:
YES. I played it on console and absolutely loved it! Gameplay is great fun, single player AND co-op. In fact, one of my fondest memories is playing co-op SR2 with my boyfriend with us just running around trying to kill each other - my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
SR2 does pretty good in the sandbox environment. Significantly better than the entire GTA Series The activities can grate on you after a while, but the missions are there to keep it fun. The main missions and character are pretty interesting too. As long as you don't mind playing a Homicidal Sociopath (Isn't that what you did in GTA?) SR2 can be pretty fun as fuck.
It's also got a great Co-op, so get a friend in on it and LAN on your consoles. (Or PC)

Holy shit, I am so installing that sometime soon. Right now I'm in the process of re-installing Morrowind though, so I'll be playing nothing else for the next week or so.martintox said:
OT: Get it. If you have a good PC, well I have it on PC and I actually had no problems beyond the occasional glitch that I've seen the likes of in the console version anyway.
