Isn't this just going to be COD5: World at War in the same way that the last one is COD4: Modern Warfare?

Decoy Doctorpus and a few other people have made the great point that CoD4 was basically like all the other CoDs before it. I mean, in this modern (warfare) time what middle eastern country would be able to go toe to toe with the US like in CoD4?
If it truly was 'modern warfare' you'd be fighting static battles with insurgents you can't even see and trying to survive roadside bombs for the whole game. This is exactly what I mean when I say most WWII shooters don't feel unique enough to the setting and circumstances (hence why they all seem the same), you could just change the weapons and the belligerents and call it a whole new game (Modern Warfare).

I watched some of the newly released multiplayer footage, and it looks really similar to COD4. The UI is basically the same, with XP bar and rank progress. only now it's WW2.
Ofcourse they added lots of different perks, and streak bonuses like attack dogs.

To me, that sounds awesome, I don't need them reinventing the shooter, they are building on the fantastic foundation that Infinity Ward have created with COD4, and for me, that's all I want.

I wonder if you'll be able to fend off dogs like in CoD4. I mean, I don't see why not.
