Don't forget being a Post Grad and whatnot, depending upon your chosen profession.
Me, I'm a High School Junior. Plan to do either some sort of CS or Physics. I'm interested in the kind of stuff they do at the LHC, Quantum, that sort of thing. I want to understand the fundamentals of our universe, really. On the other hand, I love computers, but I'm not sure if coding interests me as much. Currently, I'm trying my hand at Web Page Design. I'm not so great at the Design bit (I don't have much of an eye for art), and I struggle a tad getting all those tags lining up just right. Right now I'm doing my first site for a local university, getting paid hourly. I'm currently experimenting (I say experimenting but I'm really learning as I go) with a sort of static layout that zooms with the user zoom setting. The problem is, there isn't enough content on the page to actually make it anything but static. It's literally five boxes and the title, just the way the bossman wants it.
But I digress.
It's my opinion that school is a vital part of becoming successful in life. Yeah, sure, some might be able to get along by doing art, or somehow get lucky and rise up without schooling. However, if you don't, as is likely, chances are you'll be working in McDonalds for a while. That's my opinion. I'm not saying that I love it though. I resent it, but I understand the necessity of doing well in it.
