ive never seen a 3d movie so i thought a gory one would be cool, but im also realy interested in scott pilgrim, help? thanks

Piranha 3D looks so bad, it's good. Scott Pilgrim is so good, it's awesome. Go watch it! Give The film makers money! It's the same director as Shaun of the Dead for pity's sake!

Scott Pilgrim is an Edgar Wright film, the guy behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Though I have heard Piranha 3D is so awful it's brilliant, so it may be worth watching it later at a Matinee or on DvD with some mates and lots of beer.

Is there even a contest here? Scott Pilgrim is one of, if not the funniest movie I have ever seen.
It needs money desperately.....so feed it.
3-D isn't worth it. It just leaves you blinded, with bloody eyeballs, clawing in the dark, for some sweet comfort and solice. My poor, poor eyeballs....

Not only is it going to be the much better movie but if what you're looking for is a good introduction to quality 3D in a movie, Piranhas won't give it to you as the 3D in Piranhas was just added in post production. Piranhas wasn't actually filmed in 3D thus the effect is going to be a lot less effective.

Have you seen the ads for Piranha 3D? if you did you must have noticed that it's one of the dumbest horror films in awhile. Honestly it feels like it's an element of 80s horror shlock which it just might be. Scott pilgrim is an acquired taste. reviews aren't really faithful with being glowing or condemming. But if you look at a few you may see what that you might like it. You can always not go to the movies and wait till they show up on dvd redbox etc.Psychosocial said:
