With more people complaining about the Evony [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/experienced-points/6825-Experienced-Points-Evony-Irony] ads, I figured now is as good a time as any for this thread. Has an attractive woman/man ever sold you on a product?

Personally, no. I tend to not want the product afterwards, usually.

And yes, the title is a Megadeth thing.

EDIT: Please note, this does not apply to just games, it could be anything. Also, it doesn't have to be the cover, either. It could have a perfectly basic cover, but the ads and trailers just featured the sex.

It does affect my in a bad way... But I try to be objective and judge the game fairly first.

But when a movie has a extreme nudity, it's either a porn, or a b-movie using sex to at least get SOME people interested.

I regularly play hentai games, and I bought and legitimately enjoyed Final Fantasy X-2.

I can't say that it has ever been the deciding factor. More like a bonus for a game that was already interesting enough on it's own.

Although I'd actually prefer if people tone it down a bit. Seriously. I can't even see the game itself behind the copious amounts of T and/or A on some boxes.
I mean, seriously. When I see a box like "A-Team" with "Mr. T" I just can't help wondering "What the heck is this crap?"

I will admit that I've bought a couple of things in the past due to sexual/erotic motivation (I'm just a man, can you blame me?).

Just because something doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean that it doesn't appeal to anyone (odds are on that you aren't the target audience, in other words, we don't care what you think).

It has an affect but not to make me buy the product. For example, it piques my curiosity to look into a product but the product itself is what makes me buy it. The advertisement brings a product to my attention where me investigating it more makes me buy the product.

nope. either i'm playing the game because i have had it recommended to me on merits of hacky slashy shooty deathness or it has some other interesting content.

The only time i'd be interested in an advert about sex is when i'm wathing porn, and that i can get for free from the internet or go find my other 1\2.

Sex scenes never sell it to me, but that's partly because I live at home with my parents.

Sure has. A few movies, not counting porn, but it's not like you're really interested in the hotness of the models, just what they're doing. But I've gone to see a few movies muttering this line "Plus, ____ is in it, and she's Really Hot." But it does at least require a primary interest in the movie.
