Once, a bottle of Frangelico (foul, foul hazelnut liqueur). I was half cut and all I wanted was a long neck of Cooper's Pale Ale, but I got 2 cartons on special for $70 and the lady was simply attractive enough for me to take a punt. She was even a promo girl as such, just tidy.
Nothing comes to mind, but I'm sure I've subconsciously bought [i/]something[/i] because a hot chick was on the front of it half naked.

Guaranteed that every single one of you have paid more attention to an ad on one or more occasions because it had a sexy person in it though.

No, it does not. Not for me anyway. I just think that if they have to go so low to showing a pair of breasts to sell a product. I don't think it's very good
The subconscious decision based on sex only applies to, well, tards. Anybody else can see through shit like that.
Addendum: If the product itself is meant to focus on sex(porn, sex toys, hentai games etc) That doesn't count. Condemning that would be like condemning a restaraunt for advertising delicious food.

I remember a while back seeing an ad for a free MMORPG. I don't remember the name of the game, but the ad only consisted of an animated picture of a scantily clad, sinewy woman sitting in the middle of nowhere with her hands chained above her head. The only text on the ad was the name of the game and a few good things some random people on a few forums had to say about it.
To be honest, I thought it was hilarious. It was the most pathetic ad I'd ever seen. The only thing I wanted to have to do with that game was to perhaps meet the creator of that ad and have them watch me wipe my ass on it. It told me nothing about the game at all, except that some people on some random forums somewhere thought it was a great fantasy MMORPG.
I think the only way sex sells is if that is what the client base is looking for. Want to sell more copies of GTA? Put some more boobs in. That is what the players have come to expect from the franchise--it is a major part of the game. Boobs in GTA ads actually make sense. But that MMO ad...it was pointless. I wouldn't have been surprised if clicking it led to a porn site rather than a link to an MMORPG.

I watched the Covenant because the main characters were a male swim team and were hot, XMen Origins Wolverine I bought on blu-ray and slo-mo watched the naked leaping from the bath, I rented Australia because Hugh Jackman plays a rugged cowboy.

No, if a game makes a big deal about a sexy person or boobs or even sex over plot and gameplay. However, if they don't but still use some of the things listed above and still have a great game then I'm all for it.
