I share the minority's opinion that there is no "gay" or whatever else, only preferences. Although if you're just describing a preference, and not some "state of being", it could be a different matter.
A bit like how you grew up to like or dislike brocolis.

However I understand "sex" is a very important part of everyones life, at least while you go through puberty. Also that the repression on anyone with unconventional tastes has been, and still is, very very hard.
That is why most everyone goes on to make a way of life around their preferences. It doesn't help in being objective.

Hm... really just "straight" with no interest in same sex hasn't gotton a poll option? One of the most common "settings"?.

Well, i myself drift between non-sexual and massively straight. I only find the female form arousing, but lack sexdrive in comparison to the normal "baseline".

Hrrm. Well, I have a split personality, and the "main" me is straight, with NO INTEREST in experimenting whatsoever. However, the "repressed" me is borderline asexual.

Straight and male, but I have no desire to surf the man-tackle therefore I can't vote in the thread. The gay community on this site is astounding, by the way. Most people I talk to are either gay or bi. Checking up on the Gaymers User Group posts every now and again is also fun, I might add. They are crazy-fun.

Well I'm straight but with no experimenting so no poll option for me but anyway seems a bit stupid that bi females would freak out about bi guys though.

Well I'm 16 (almost 17), a virgin and have so far had no interest in having sex. So I'm not sure if that's normal and people end up having sex 'just because'[footnote]Or for whatever reason, like social pressure, love, procreation, curiosity, etc[/footnote], find that they like it and that's what makes them want more[footnote]Like chocolate; before you've had chocolate you can't want it except through the experiences of others, but once you have it you can genuinely want it[/footnote] or if there is a hormonal compulsion to put your dick in something[footnote]I mean, I ... self-pleasure but that's mainly because it feels nice and I have nothing better to do[/footnote]. So yeah, lacking the ability to read minds I can't tell if I'm normal and just haven't experienced it yet, or if I'm a late bloomer or if I'm asexual/demisexual or pansexual or if I just have a really high 'sex-threshold'[footnote]My tern for describing how easily someone produces sexual desire in response to psychological, social and phyical attractions[/footnote].

TL;DR: I don't know what I am, and if what I am is what most are and I'm just not getting it, or if I actually am different to my friends. So yeah, I'm voting uncertain.

Omnisexual here.
No real preference one way or another.

I have the ability to have romantic feelings and attractions towards any gender.
Omnisexual, so objects & animals too i think that's going a bit far.

Omnisexual is sexual attraction to all things not only bound to gender.

so ask yourself have you ever had sexual urges towards your Refrigerator???

Pretty gay here, I've not really had much experience in the area, some, but not much. I'll spare you the details.

I'm sure I am though, regardless, at the end of the day I know what I want and tits ain't it. I didn't need experience to know that, just youthful curiosity and a broadband connection.

Well, Nonsexual would be better than asexual, but it is generally the same thing...
I'm nonsexual. Doesn't mean I can't, just means I have no interest, no drive.
No preference, and no real care for the preferences of others. Of course, I still respect the preferences of others, though.
Dang, I want to change my answer now. I just put down strait but nonsexual is more accurate for me.

So Pan would be the sexuality resulting from reading to much Vonnegut then? :)
I wouldn't know. Never read Vonnegut. Don't even know what it is.
From Slaughterhouse Five

". . . There were five sexes on Tralfamadore, each of them performing a step necessary in the creation of a new individual . . ."

great book btw :)

WHILE IM HERE, OP i urge you to get yourself a dictionary, asexual doesnt work with human beings. Asexual is reproducing without sex, it isnt not wanting sex. Seriously, look it up. My dictionary says this:

1: having no apparent sex or sexual organs
2: (of reproduction) not involving sexual activity

Yours should say something similar.

OT: heterosexual, with zero experimenting, and 0% interest in experimenting...
The prefix "a-", means "not" or "non-". Thus, "asexual".

I'm Heterosexual. I've got, and have only had, one girlfriend and I intend to stay that way.

I was Bi-curious around 13 - Early 14 but I'm decisive now. I know what I want. :D
