Not my thing personally, but I'm a bit weird with body hair, or hair in general for that matter. But I won't go into details.

It really depends on how often you get your legs out in public, I mean if the GF likes it and your comfortable doing it then there's no real harm, but if you fear ridicule because you're an avid sporter of shorts (lets face it, they are comfy and easy to wear) then maybe not.

Who cares. Its your body, you shouldnt have to change it for anyone, especially a partner. I shave but that's merely just because Im not a fan of body hair.

It's kind of like dressing in drag. It's not tangibly gay, but the connection is very, very easy to make. If you legitimately WANT to shave your legs, go for it. Otherwise, it's not worth your dignity.

girlfriend... the thing with the thing that you want to be in with the thing... is telling you to do something that is mildly uncomfortable.

Do it.
Hahaha that amused me.

OT: I like my leg hair, but, I don't think my girlfriend would ever ask me to shave them. I would kind of be a little confused. I guess if you have a forest down there you might need to trim them, but I never thought a girlfriend would ask that.

Take up swimming, then you can shave it for a reason!

And swim people bodies are quite sexy anyway!

If I had a good reason, I guess I would, though I wouldnt want to shave my legs since I have a lot of hair and it would take forever on my own.

BUt hey, if you prefer more power to you. though you shouldnt think you're gay just for doing it. Thats kinda hateful against the gays.

If everything but your legs are shaved, that's kind of weird. Normally if arms, chest, and pubic areas are shaved the legs are too to avoid it looking weird (my opinion at least.)

Me? I'm rugged hairy guy since I don't feel like shaving morning, noon, and night

Okay, GF wants me to shave my legs but i'm kinda in two minds about it. I shave everywhere else but i always thought that legs were a symbol of manhood. my friends haven't been too helpful either with split opinions (one thinks that its really hot while another thinks that shaving my legs will automatically make me gay :p)

So with no one else to turn to, I turn to you, the lovely lad and lasses of the escapist on boxing day :). something random and off topic but ahhh well, what the heck.
Don't be insecure. Nothing except being attracted to men wouldmake you gay, and you're already into preening (if you're shaving everywhere else) so you can let go of any tired stereotype of what it is to be manly. Do what you want, and I'd suggest pleasing your girlfriend if it makes little difference to you...

The question is, how much do you love your GF?
If she is super important to you, then go for it. Your making her happy. Why not do it?
Whats on the line? Your "Manhood"? How many people are accually going to know? 3 or 4?

Theres no reason you shouldent if you do love her.

I guess your girlfriend just finds you too masculine or something.
I have to disagree there. I don't think body hair denotes masculinity. It denotes physical maturity, but women naturally have hair on their legs too. Yes they shave it off, yes there are many reasons (most of them commercially induced) that women shave more than men, but at the end of the day a healthy, mature woman will have body hair too. It may not be as much, but the females of our species have it just the same.

At first I thought it was a bit silly to shave your legs or any body hair for that matter, but snce you said you shave everywhere else already then what difference does it make. Just think of it like this: nobody except for you an her are actually going to see you naked, and therefore 50% of those people want you to shave your legs & the other 50% are undecided, and if you say "yeah but it's my body" just remember that hair grow back.

You can actually see the same thing in guys who wear jeans a lot and have really hairy legs. The back of their calves will have less hair sometimes.

I personally dislike body hair, so I shave it.

I like being smooth.
