Poll: Should all car-related games feature the ability total your car?

I really don't feel like typing a lot right now, but anyway, I think it's lame in racing games when you crash going 150 mph into a wall and it makes a dent as if your car was attacked by a cat. Should all car-racing games feature awesome-ass crashes?

then you have to think about the idiots online who would crash into you and deliberatly put you out of the race

Almost always, yes. I think there should be some forgiveness for online racing, but any single player experience yeah. I think most vehicle crashes in game are far from realistic but some are ok. Dirt 2 had pretty decent crashes but not enough crumple zone. F1 2010 doesn't seem to have much damage tho. I mean, sure, the monocoque isn't going to crush but there's a lot of shit that should fly off when you crash.
