I always loved Ed Edd n Eddy. It was insanely funny with he sound effects and randomness. It had lovable characters, and memorable places. I really am sad knowing that its gone. The big picture show movie gave me a nice reassuring feeling that it MIGHT be remade later on, but maybe in a spinoff. I just want to see something Ed Edd n Eddy related again. I was wondering who else does.

There's a big problem with remaking cartoons that have aged a bit since they were last shown new on television - Chances are the return will never be as good as the fans want it to be. Actually, it's not specific to cartoons. Movies, live-action television, books, video games, music, all of it suffers from this. There's a very slim chance that a return would live up to whatever expectations people would have of it.

I liked Ed, Edd, & Eddy well enough, but I think it should rest in the past.

I just feel so sad knowing how its gone forever now. Maybe a spin-off, or even a guest appearance in a game with Ed maybe. Even with that I would feel better. I just don't want to believe that its gone. It was all I did everyday since I had no one to talk to. TV was amazing. Ed Edd n Eddy was my favorite show.

Restart the series, don't remake the series. Best cartoon ever made on Cartoon Network, manly tears were shed on the movie.

I always loved illegal American Cartoon Network through my grandparents' satellite. Here in my reserve we only had 18 cable channels(Yes, 18) and the only shows I watched was Fox Kids and MuchMusic. It made us much more active, to think about it. (It maybe the whiskey talking, but) Edd, Ed and Eddy was one of those shows that made it worth it staying at my grandparents.(our grandmother is a total meanie, that's the most meanest thing I can say about her). My grandad is the greatest person in my entire life. He let us watch all of CN's Cartoon Cartoons even though it was late at night. He even had the courtesy of picking us up one by one to the beds we were supposed to sleep in. All he asked was to be respectful and listen(but not agree with) greatly to others older than us. One of the reasons I respect him greatly. He also taught my uncle, who taught me, how to hunt properly. If I didn't go on that hunting trip, I'd probably be a sissy-ass fag who was telling everyone that eating meat was bad.

Three down on their luck infamous criminals team up to create one of the largest scams in the world to earn the most anyone could ever dream of.

Ed: A serial killer from Texas that has escaped death row and has isolated himself from society.

Edd: a mad scientist that has invented and sold multiple devices used in professional crime today.

Eddy: A man known for a crime he had committed against the FBI and Phone companies everywhere.

who wouldn't wanna see this!?

I'm one of those weirdos who didn't especially care for it the first time around, but even if I had absolutely loved it, I wouldn't want a remake. Ed Edd 'n Eddy was very much a product of its time. Any modern reboot would wind up being so different that it would be better for everyone just to make a new show, and let the animators take inspiration from the Eds, like Animaniacs did from Looney Toons and the Marx Brothers back in the day.

Ok fair enough, I guess it was nostalgia talking, but what about a show SIMILAR to E, E, n E. I just really want to see something like this again. What if it was a show like u said would learn from this show's mistakes, but also all of it's greatest achievements. Like simple yet more complex plots, and complete randomness.

Wasn't someone on the internet working on a fan made Ed, Edd, And Eddy: High school? I don't know if it's still being made but it looked promising. Theres some clips floating around Youtube I think.

I'd say it be best to just let it be. The show had it's charm, and yes I would of loved to see at least one more season with the characters in a school setting, but it's done. It's not even like it was really story driven anyway, how many times can we see the Eds and their whack shenanigans for Jaw Breakers?

Only thing I would want to see is just sort of a looking in at the characters as middle aged adults to see what they did with their lives, who married who, was Jimmy gay, what jobs each of them ended up doing..... that sort of thing.

I've never watched than 30 seconds of it, but it seemed like one of those shows that cemented in the feeling in my head that I was way too old for cartoons from what I saw. I find it pretty surprising that there's some nostalgic value to it, is it even that old?

I don't see any reason it should be remade, it's already more than decent by itself in my opinion.

I believe the point of remaking something is to improve on the original source material, how do you think one can improve on that show? It even ended perfectly!

If you can't remake Ed Edd n Eddy better, it would make more sense to simply air the original on TV again.

I think if any show should be remade, it's Codename: Kids Next Door, and even then, I think all you'd really need to improve is toss aside afew arbitrary plot twists (like Chad's ass pull in OP:TREATY) and throw away that hole-filled finale OP:INTERVIEWS in favor of having the KND fight an actual villainous Splinter Cell in an internal civil war in the end, that there you've made the KND storyline perfect.

It was a good filler show to past the time but really......the humor is a bit stale. Its very dry and mostly directed at the characters oddities with barely any jokes. The characters aren't as fun as I remembered them either. Eddy was annoying, Double D was a spineless idiot, and I didn't find Ed's down syndrome funny. I don't think it stands the test of time honestly.

I guess I liked it when I was younger, when its jokes were funny and new. But now, I honestly can't see why I liked that show. Sure, there are a handful of good episodes, but overall, it wasn't that great. Especially its animation. That stuff gives me a headache now.

Nope. Series debuted in 1999, ended in 2009. Honestly, it concerns me that people want to see a remake of a show that recent.
