Poll: Should I buy Fallout 3?

I'm getting bored of the games I am currently playing, so I want to try something new. From what I've seen, Fallout 3 looks quite interesting. Should I buy it?

Well Fallout 3 is one of the best games (debatable) that has come out this year the whole decision making system is really good the VAT system is a bit off but still good. The story will hook you if you like a story and the combat will satisfy almost anyone. Its a really good developed game and with the new add-ons now liek The Pit you got even more to play I am the greatest dick head there is. Still the KArma is Bullshit but thats life.

I think its worth it - Open World, plenty of decision making (only 3 main options, good bad neutral, but you get to use it alot) Hours of exploration if youre into that, and about a weeks worth of constant play to beat all the quests. Another week for the DLC's, Etc. If you want me to go into extreme detail id rather message it than win 'Longest Post of The Year'...'

Did you like TES: Oblivion?
Fallout 3 is pretty much a dumbed down version of that in a different setting.
The story is terrible, the character customization is great, enviroments are depressing after a while, the building interiors are mostly bland, uninteresting and can provide a sidestory in text. It should keep your attention for quite a while. I'd say buy it.

for the pc yes. Also you should download the GECK, its like a modding tool. Fallout 3 has some amazing mods

Not free, you get the DLC through the PC version of Xbox Live
Costs the same as the 360 (same live points system, also links to xbox live for achievements and so on)

I'd say get the PC version at all costs if you have a fast enough PC, due to the incredible 3rd party mod community for it.
