No, but I never said reviews. You asked for reasons why you should buy something, and your going to trust that because 70 people liked something, so will you?

Why you can't google info about the game and see if it fits your taste puzzles me.
I could do that. But I chose to do this. Does it matter?

Yeah, it does. Maybe not much, but it just says a lot about you.

What does it matter? What does it say about me? Is it so wrong to ask people questions?

No, now your twisting my words. It's wrong to ask people stupid questions, because it makes you look stupid.

I don't think you're stupid, so I'm telling you not to ask stupid questions. If you haven't got that by now, you are stupid.

It's not a stupid question. All I did was ask if Fallout 3 is worth buying. Given the responses I've got, I think this thread did well in telling me whether I should buy Fallout 3.

You should buy: The enormous open-world game style, choices do matter in-game, compelling storyline alongside characters and overall hours of fun.

You should not buy: The ending is extremely fail, The grapichs isen't the best, you hate Oblivion, You only want to rush the main quest and then never play it again.

When did I say that? I've never played Oblivion, and I'll certainly do lots of side quests, and then keep on playing, and then some.

Every game has its negatives, but Fallout 3 will keep you busy for quite some time. Any problems with the game are minor. It's extremely immersive and once you get into it you'll find yourself looking at the time wondering "Hmm, doesn't *feel* like 6am... oh well."

There's a lot of stuff to do, and you could easily put at least 100 hours into it.

oh.. he didn't say that you ever said that. Those were hypothetical reasons, like, if you WERE the person that does the stuff in his comment, you'd avoid it. But from the sounds of it, you'd like it and it's a definite buy.

If you got a PC get it for that. the interface is easier, and the DLC is free... so far

The game is essentially Post-Apocalyptic Oblivion. If you liked Oblivion and like the end of the world, its a great game.

It is a second rate game that is better to rent than to buy. People say that there is plenty to do but I disagree, it was a game that couldn't attract me (even though I beat it) and it wasn't the greatest of Bethesda games.

I did every side quest I could find, I am not saying it is a bad game, I am just saying, in my opinion, that it is a game that I would rather rent or borrow from a friend. *which is what I did XD*.

But after I beat the game I could not play it again, I just felt like "Wow, thats it?"

I do suggust Oblivion though :D.

Eh... It's alright. I find discovering new places to be fun but I find they're always pretty bland and boring. But that's just my opinion, a lot of others enjoy it so I have faith you will too.

If the game was terrible why would people still be talking about it almost obsessively a yearish after the game was released. Its as good as everyone says it is.

Yes. Yes you should. Go, do it. NOOOOW!

/thread

Although come to think of it, you should probably wait for the GOTY edition, since the game is MILES better with the DLC. Especially Broken Steel.
