Hello there. My name's Iwata, I've been playing FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D and Doom. I like the genre, and hate multiplayer. Pleased to meet you, I'm sure.

This. I play games either splitscreen, passing the controller around, or on my own. The only reason I have PSN is to get DLC and occasionally message some friends. With that in mind, could anyone recommend a modern FPS that's campaign centred?

Out of the top of my head, Singularity and the new AvP. Both underrated games, in my humble opinion, who focus on the single-player ride above multiplayer. Especially Singularity.
