Only if you live in America. Canada's selection is really not the best.

But yeah, American Netflix is awesome, and totally worth it.

Honestly.. if it were me. I would stick with blockbuster and more specifically blockbusters equivilent to Netflix. Because honestly the ability to rent games like gamefly and dvd discs like netflix for roughly the same price as netflix is vastly superior. Plus if you DO have dishnetwork and anything greater than their welcome plan, you add on dish network movie pass, get the same stuff, 10$ plus they grant you extra channels on dish network for doing so.

Plus if you still have a blockbuster in your area you can do exchanges there instead of waiting for delivery times.

Plus they do have to some extent streaming capacity via dish network.

All in all Blockbuster is a superior service and thats BEFORE all the loss of content blocks netflix is now suffering.

It's a great way to keep track of the movies you've watched and loved.

Instant streaming is nice too.

I definitely recommend getting it.

As someone else said, the main downside is the fact that you can't just pick up a movie and watch it (unless it's on streaming). You have to wait a few days.
Streaming quality is also pretty shite, unfortunately.

I'm okay with Amazon Prime, but it does not have nearly the selection that I'm looking for.

The services are great if the thing you are looking for is popular or recent, but they are probably not going to fulfill the specific niche that you might be interested in.

Hell, if I tunes had one of those streaming services that don't require an I-Phone, I-Pad or I-pod Touch, I'd jump all over it. I have a better shot a finding the drek that I like in the Itunes store than in the other ones, believe it or else.

Chances are you're better with it than without it. I personally can't justify the cost, but that's mostly because it's hard for me to watch movies these days.

I went with it (in conjunction with Hulu - regular Hulu, not the premium one - and MLB.tv) rather than a cable/satellite subscription. It's much better for me.
