Strictly based on the fact that I don't like FPS and couldn't give a rats ass about Portal 2 because of that, I'm going with Mortal Kombat, but I'm a bit biased so no reason to listen to me!
Heh, that would also work. But sadly, seeing as I've only got a passing interest in both of these games[footnote]Portal never hooked me in, although I'm thinking of Portal 2 for co-op but only if it's split screen on 360. And MK games have always been hit and miss with me.[/footnote], this is how I'd decide if I was in the OPs shoes.mikespoff said:Or, even better:Sassafrass said:1) Find a coin.
2) Mark one side as Portal 2, one side MK.
3) Flip and see what side lands face up. Buy the game it picks for you.
4) ???
5) An initial loss, followed by PROFIT.
Simple.
1) Find a coin.
2) Mark one side as Portal 2, and the other side as Portal 2.
3) Flip and see what side lands face up. Buy the game it picks for you.

Try to say the games would have become even 1/4 as popular as they did without the controversy/gore. I dare you. The games are horrible when compared to street fighter 2. It's gameplay is better in every way. Without the gore it was just another barely-mediocre fighter that were coming out at the time.Chibz said:Excuse me, but the original trilogy are rather well made too. Don't cut the games short.Lord Beautiful said:Mortal Kombat. Unlike previous entries in the series, this one's good.
As expected, though, the Valve fanboys have utterly flooded the poll. Oh well.
He has replaced Street Fighter IV's Seth as Lord Emperor Bullshit Magician. I really want to beat the designers at Netherrealm in the nards every time I fight that cheating piece of shit.Spot1990 said:Shao Kahn is cheap? Wow they've really gone back to their roots now. More than one broken controller resulted from trying to beat Shao Kahn in Trilogy.
Certainly. My biggest problem was the last bit of levels. It was how everything had to be so perfectly timed that if you were a half second off you had to start over again. It reminded of back in the days of 2D platformers were if you didnt jump at the right pixel you would die. Another thing was the story. With all the hype I was thinking that the story would be epic, but it was so basic a 1st grader could have written it. It devolves into thins: You are Shell, You are in a room with no escape, an error occurs, you find the portal gun, you find an upgrade to the portal gun, now beat these puzzles. Also its a pet peeve of mine that Valve recycles their sound effects in everyone of "their" games. Although I will admit the computer personality had some witty one liners, it just didn't make the game for me.Dense_Electric said:I'm all for opinions and whatnot, but a little justification of that comment wouldn't go amiss. Also considering Mortal Kombat is pretty much just Mortal Kombat. Same thing it was the last however many times.Skizle said:the first Portal was crap and the Mortal Kombat demo seemed promising so I would go with that.
