I'm bored. It's late. I don't gotta license. I got money, but i cant get a game til Saturday. I got Dragon Age: Origins, which thankfully consumes my time, but I've been putting of replaying because I'll get to a groan moment somewhere but it's a good time killer. Just need a second opinion on this. Also if any of you would also like to recommend me a game that would be appreciated. Just needs to be on DS, 360, or PS3, let's me use my mind, not drain my wallet and is a good time. Something that really works my mind is good. Thanks!

I say sure, why not? Hell, I went through the same situation earlier this week with Fallout 3. Sure, there's a few groan moments, but there are more great moments that outweigh them. Of course, I never played Dragon Age: Origins, so what do I know. But I don't see anything wrong with playing a game you've played before.

Damn right you should. I played it three times, and I'll probably play through it again.
Go for it!

Hell yes!! If you have it for the PC install some mods too, it really adds life to the game.

Also, if you haven't already played Fallout 3, Oblivion or (DS Chrono Trigger) go play those.

I voted "yes," just because I think it's one of the best games of recent years and I myself played through all the different Origin stories and played all the way through to the end as a warrior, a mage, and then a rogue, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Then again, I liked seeing how different choices changed things and how NPC reactions and dialogue options differed based on my race, class, and choices. If that sort of thing doesn't hold much appeal for you, DA:O might not be worth the replay, for you anyway.

I have something like six playthroughs (and a few that I deleted). Oddly enough I haven't finished any of them. I'm also a little tired of Ostagar, which is probably less of a surprise.

I had the weirdest dream about Oblivion like three days ago. My Dad let me get any game and I chose this giant box gulls Oblivion and the expansions. Atleast I think it was ,I know it had something to do with Oblivion.

You could try Fallout: New Vegas, it's a much more proper RPG that gives you a clean slate character and much more decision making when it comes to the main and side quests, not to mention the morality is done much better by having more grey choices. The reputation system also makes choices have more impact as you have to decide which factions you'll be allies with and those that will be enemies later on.

Devil Survivor, mang. Out of the RPGs I've played, that game is a strong contender for best implementation of choice, period. It's hard to describe and very good.

I'll check it out, I guess the main thing I'm looking for is a game with an atmosphere that doesn't depress me.

It's a sign! Get Oblivion nao!! You can even get a GotY copy off ebay for around 10 bucks, what are you waiting for?

If so that is the weirdest sign ever and is probably a sign that I should take a hiatus from video games.

Also I decided to go with the Dwarven Warrior origin.

I've beaten Origins at least 5 times, and I'm on my 6th playthrough right now. Obviously it comes highly recommended from me. I find that playing a vastly different kind of character, romancing different party members, and just acting differently through the game can make the groan moments far more bearable.

Mount and Blade. Spend some time learning the game, then spend months conquering the land. I completed DAO twice...I really can't be bothered going through again.
This here is good advice! Mount and Blade is an awesome time sink. Though if you want good story, I'd suggest Origins instead. Play all the different origin stories (upto Ostagar) if you haven't already.

I don't see why not. It's an awesome game, and even if you hit a groan moment you might get a day one day where you're really bored and go on with it - back to the many parts of the game which aren't incredibly tedious. Like those that aren't the circle tower or the deep roads.

Obvious Suggestion is Jade Empire if you enjoyed DA:O.
It works on the 360 after installing a patch. :)
