*facepalm*

Please tell me you guys aren't being serious. -_-

First powerwalking... and now I see this being taken seriously. Besides being completely ridiculous, the shorter someone is, the more advantage they would have. Skill doesn't have much to do with it.

No, but they should reinstate the Hoplitodromos.

I'd watch the female division...

Unlike the other races, which were generally run in the nude,
So wouldn't you rather watch the female divison of the other races?

TC: No because then years from now I'd probably have to watch some movie about a really tall guy overcoming his tallness in order to win a gold medal in the Olympics, like all those other lame sports movies...

We're still better than you iceland-ians! Don't make me get my longboat and horned helmet. Because I will rape and pillage Iceland if I have to.
Your forgetting one thing.Viking might be from Norway and Sweden, but the most cruel ones were from Iceland.SO instead of going to war,how about we go pillage England for the billionth time.

It's as my friend usually say, the reason there are no good looking girls in England, is because Scandinavia took them. :D

If there is one thing the future holds is that Limbo shall become an Olympic sport, so the answer is most certainly YES, it not only should, it WILL be!

I'm not certain. It is a game that requires a degree of skill to excell at but I have a difficult time imagining how it can be made into a sport. Strictly speaking, athletic prowess and flexability aside, one can only lean back a certain amount before they fall. If we assume each contestant is in peak physical condition for the "sport" the winner becomes the person with the lowest natural center of gravity. In the normal case I could hardly see this game becoming an olympic sport.

If it were modified in some capacity so that a speedy clearance of a number of differing obstacles were required, we might have something to work with.

I say keep sports separate from activities when it comes to the Olympics. Gymnastics, swimming, and running are all sports, but things like limbo and cheerleading are just activities.
