With the new metroid Samus got a voice and it didnt turn out to well. Do you think Mario and Link should get to talk in thier next installment or just stay quiet?

Mario has a voice, albeit not much, and Link should stay shut.

Calumon: It's their choice. I don't wanna force them. : (

they kind of have a voice...in my mind i imitate their grunting/jumping sounds into what their voices actually sound like so if they do anything similar to that i already have it covered in my head.

personally, i love voices, it adds to the character imo and makes them less of a cardboard cut out, but its not necessary

If you play the Mario & Luigi RPGs on the GBA they both talk. True, it's in a form of Italian giberish but still.

They both already have voices, kinda. If the question is asking me whether they should suddenly become chatty, well then I vote yes. I want to see what those two would say if allowed to speak.

Mm... Yes and No answer.

Yes I'd like Link and co. in the Legend of Zelda to finally have voice acting but also no because I don't want it to end up like Sonic's choice in voice acting.

Maybe it's better the way it is. =/

I couldn't stop smiling all through that video. That man has so much energy! :)

I suppose working with a game like Mario though you would have to have a certain temperament...

I've heard Mario talk all the time...

But Link? No. It ruins the charm of the character for me.

Mario has a voice already so he's doing quite well with it. Link TECHNICALLY has a voice too so we'd know what they sound like, and to be honest, that's all I want.

For me, During my gaming career with these two, the fact that they don't really talk, has added to their overall character.

Mario? Definitely not, seeing as how they just constantly masturbate to the child fans of Mario (them being Nintendo) I think if they gave him a voice it'll be more ear cancer than any expression you can throw.

As for Link, yes, but only a small talking role. Nothing too major.

Well Mario has a voice, doesn't he?

But really, I don't want to see them having extended dialogue seeions in games because, let's face it, you know it will be terrible.
