I'm gonna go for yes, times around, oh I don't know, A MILLION!

And they should keep all the randomness too, I want to see Deadpool break the forth wall in live action.

Thoughts?

If they do they'd better not screw it up like they did in Origins.

Because who doesn't want to see this? :p

Its allready planned. Its been in consideration since Wolverine came out. They just need some time to wrap up the Avengers movies and let Ryan being a DC hero die down a little first.

Yes!! I am a big deadpool fan and I say he deserves to be on the big screen in his own movie. If they really want to go full on deadpool then he needs to break the 4th wall (although they probably won't do it). You know who else needs a movie? Black panther! He's one of the first avengers (though not one of the originals but still) and they're making an avengers movie so they need to give him recognition to and I will be pissed if they don't include black panther.

Both myself and my brother love Deadpool and, if done properly, it has the makings of an awesome movie, but I find that superhero movies can be a bit hit and miss in my experience, which makes me a bit apprehensive about the idea of a movie.

Deadpool talking to the audience would be sweet.

OT: How about if DC makes a Booster Gold movie eh?

They can't. Fox owns the rights to the character, along with all of the X-Men rights.

Fox, however, are making a film of Deadpool, in theory at least. It's supposedly progressing through pre-production, albeit very slowly; this is likely to continue if Green Lantern does well, since Ryan Reynolds will be needed for the sequel. In short: it's being made, but don't hold your breath.

I wanted to put some kind of variation on nerdgasm to this news, but both DEADGASM and POOLGASM just kinda sound wrong. :/

I love Deadpool, but my fear is he's not really one for a dynamic story arc. He's Deadpool, he's random, and he's awesome. You know the developers would try to force in some kind of love story and change him to not be so insane, which would ruin the character a little. I say keep him as a main character, but not as the main protagonist.

No.

Deadpool is too cool for his own movie, and frankly, what adaptation hasn't Hollywood screwed up?

Now, I don't mind an animated movie. I'd watch that for sure, but live-action? *shakes head*

You should at least give them the benefit of the doubt. It all depends on the director. If Zak Snider goes anywhere near it he will be lynched by the crowd outside Marvel Studios.

I honestly think the industry has grown out of dismissing the original source material of stuff it's making movies out of. If they do male a Deadpool movie it will be because the fans want a Deadpool movie, and the fans will want to see Deadpool with all the randomness that they love about him, and when Hollywood dismisses what the fans want in favor of what it thinks is best, we get movies like X-Men: The Last Stand. They know better now.

I dunno, I can't help thinking that any movie involving him would cut all the interesting things out to reach a 12A or Pg-13 rating.

So if a Deadpool movie ever does get discussed, I'd hope the end conclusion would be to not make the film and BBUUULLLLLEEETTSSS!!!

Just make it so deadpool acknowledges he's in a movie, that way he can say it sucks even if it doesnt and it will just be easier to accept.
