I think Treyarch should stop making COD and just make zombies. Their ports are crap anyway. I thought the ending to black ops was pretty gay.

Infinity Ward should be the only company with rights to the COD franchise. They have the best campaign/multiplayer. Treyarch just tries to copy everything..

You kind of need the campaign to set the stage for multiplayer, from the guns to the factions to the equipment to the maps. You kind of need it.

No. If they wanted to I could see a profit on multiplayer-exclusive disks, but I dont think that taking out single player would go over well.
What he said, if they take away the single player they'd take a HUGE hit that would sorta put a damper on whatever improvements that be made in the multi player.

No you don't, you just have to stick to a period and make weapons from that period. Multiplayer only games were made and had all their own factions, equipments, and maps. Counterstrike,MAG, and the battlefield series just to name a few.

The campaigns in the newer games seem jingoist to me. I never play them.

It depends. If they make more multiplayer that even resembles Modern Warfare 2's and Black Ops' multiplayers, than keep the single player.

Even though it was only mediocre, the single-player was still ten times better than the piece-of-crap that some people call multiplayer.

Now, if they actually managed to clean up their mess, and create a decent multiplayer; then, sure, focus on multiplayer.
