Because I think they should, I know that quite a few people will hear a game is going to be released that they like, such as Valkyria Chronicles 2 or God of War, just to find out that it is being released for the PSP. now I am not sure how difficult it would be for Sony to do this, and I know that this isn't what the people who want to play these games want to hear either, but I feel it is a good compromise that would allow more PS3 owners to experience those great PSP titles without having to buy a PSP.

No, because that would negate the whole purpose of the system to begin with. If you want to play those games so badly, man up and buy the system, complaining about it being on a platform you don't have is just pointless.

Exclusives are exclusives for a reason, they push systems and give reason to own the device for one reason over the other. Sony or any other company aren't gonna compromise their sales of one of their platforms by doing such a thing. It WOULD be nice, but it won't happen any time soon, maybe when the system is long dead (and don't anyone dare start shit about that), you'll see em up just like the virtual console and all that.

You can say the same thing about nintendo and why you can't download DS games for your Wii, they wanna push systems and doing something lie that for your current hardware both negates the purpose of having it to begin with and would impair hardware sales (to some degree).

I think he meant through download like virtual console, not hardware. I don't think selling an add on peripheral would be that successful either. I dunno if you're comment was sarcastic or serious though.

for first thing: yes it would make more sense that way, rather then jamming your ps3 with psp games that you will never ever see again

for second thing: a mix of both

i get what you are saying and i have a PSP i enjoy, but sony should see this as another opportunity to fight against the immense amount piracy already on the system. the hacking community is avidly breaking all of there firmware updates so they can continue to pirate the game, plus it could also be a way to reward those who support Sony by downloading them off of the PlayStation network. and yes i am being serious.

Even though sony would not do it for the sake of PSP. I would like to see Patapon series on the PS3 move. No button mashing, but the movement of beating on a war drum.

Fight against? You realize people can hack into the PSN store and get stuff for free, right? Why put not only your PS1,2&3 games in dangers, but your PSP games as well?

PSP games should stay on the PSP. If people really want to play PSP games they should buy a PSP. Sony makes more money that way.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on the PS3 would definitely be the most awesome thing in the entire universe.

You shouldn't be able to play PSP games without a PSP, but I want to at least display my PSP on a TV somehow. I was really hoping the PS3/PSP's remote play thing would work both ways.

Depending on the model, you can hook it up with an a/v cable or a component cable, but wirelessly would be nice.

You know you can buy component cables for that. I have one to hook my PSP up to my TV and do it all the time when I play it at home, or even on my computer monitor through my transcoder. They're fairly cheap and only run you about 15-20 bucks. Although my onlu complaint about them is that they aren't long enough...like a meter and half or something. I do wish they were long or some sort of extension device.

I actually didn't know that, how bad of a problem is it? i knew that every now and then, when they would post a game under demo, it was actually the full game, but they always figured it out rather quick and fixed it.
