For the past 2 years, one animated Film from that year has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Film, and while neither film has won the actual award, both films did deserve the nomination. Both films were Pixar films: Up in 2009 and Toy Story 3 in 2010. However, this year Pixar produced it's first real Flop; Cars 2. Because of this, there is no way it can be nominated. But, there has been one very good animated film this year, one that deserves the nomination: Winnie The Pooh. The film has a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, it sold pretty well and it met the expectations from the Company. Disney has already had the nomination for Best Film before (In 1991, it got the nominee for "Beauty And The Beast", and it was the first animated Feature ever to win the nomination for the Academy Award), so it wouldn't be new.
So, what do you guys think? Should Winnie The Pooh get the nomination for Best Film?
