Well I can say I've heard of any of my friends having a hard time setting it up, but ok, I'll admit that Live is practically foolproof to set up, though I know a lot of people who've had matchmaking issues due to their NAT type with Live, something that doesn't happen with PSN.Paragon Fury said:Further, PSN is notorious for having a poorer online gaming experience than XBL, being harder to set-up, and generally less reliable than XBL gaming. Further, as many college students can tell you, PSN isn't network friendly at all (neither is Wii Online for that matter.). Its a btich to set up, hard to keep going, and going to your IT Department and mentioning the words "Playstation Network" or "Wii Online" are pretty good ways to be on the recieving end of a large, heavy, flying object.
Easy to set up, really, it took me 3 hours to set up my Live and 2 restarts, it's a ***** to set up. While PSN took me 10 minutes, I don't see how 10 minutes is harder that 3 HOURS!!, man I hated setting up that *****Eagle Est1986 said:Well I can say I've heard of any of my friends having a hard time setting it up, but ok, I'll admit that Live is practically foolproof to set up, though I know a lot of people who've had matchmaking issues due to their NAT type with Live, something that doesn't happen with PSN.Paragon Fury said:Further, PSN is notorious for having a poorer online gaming experience than XBL, being harder to set-up, and generally less reliable than XBL gaming. We don't just have PSN to compare to of course, what about the good old fashioned internet? PC gamers don't have any fees to play online and they get the best service of all.
Lies. Foy many games, such as the Battlefield series, WoW, LOTR, etc. you (or someone with a lot of money for a server) has to pay for it. In other cases where you don't have to pay, you have to have a rather inane amunt of computer knowledge and scritping in order to set-up a half decent server or match, and honestly, how many people can actually just do that? Not many, if PC gaming is anything to go by.Eagle Est1986 said:Well I can say I've heard of any of my friends having a hard time setting it up, but ok, I'll admit that Live is practically foolproof to set up, though I know a lot of people who've had matchmaking issues due to their NAT type with Live, something that doesn't happen with PSN.Paragon Fury said:Further, PSN is notorious for having a poorer online gaming experience than XBL, being harder to set-up, and generally less reliable than XBL gaming.
