Its a dumb ass publicity stunt by Rebecca and The Escapist to bring some interest in other aspects of the site from the staggeringly large Zero Punctuation Crowd.
Not that I mind, I like the content on the Escapist and understand and appreciate they have to pay the bills, but at least know when you are being played and marketed to.

ehh I find myself liking yatzee less and less, I mean it seems like he used to at least find one thing he liked but lately its just all ***** ***** moan moan, granted when it comes to bitching and moaning he is very creative but I always liked it better when he found something he liked
Yeah, it seems like nowadays his videos have gradually lost their resemblance to actual reviews (or 'critiques' or whatever you want to call them) and now they're pretty much just comedy. He might not think so, but all I know is that his old reviews actually had good points, while pretty much everything he says now I have to disregard when actually considering if I want to get the game.Worgen said:

I had no idea there was actually anything between them ever.. not that it's really my business. I just assumed it was part of the whole parody jest in that very sarcastic British way. Under that understanding of things it would have been an amazing "slagging match" of strange metaphors and a song reply. Assuming both were cool with that and it wasn't taken personally.
But then it's up to them, and especially if there was something, I hardly consider my entertainment to be worth more. I think I'll survive somehow.

Yes I would definitely would like to see his reply to his "hate song".I bet that would be awesome so looking forward to it,in case it becomes true.

I, for one, watch ZP only intermittently, and do so to hear what Yahtzee has to say about games and gaming, not what he may or may not have to say about other people who supply content for The Escapist.
