Poll: Single Player or Multiplayer

Mostly single player. The only games in which I enjoyed mp more than sp are MW2 and TF2.

I love Co-Op orientated campaign modes, where everyone playing is properly involved in the story....not many out there really.

Single player, always. I'll only ever play online with friends, I have no desire to play games with 14 year old American kids whose vocabulary consists almost entirely of words relating to homosexuality.

I play games for their single player. There are a few games I buy for multiplayer and those games don't even have a single player mode.

I'm not a very competitive person, so even if i DID have anything better than a shitty net connection, I wouldn't play much MP anyway.

Depends on the game, if its a CoD or Halo like game, then multi. But I'd say 90%, I prefer Single.

Guess I'm gonna be an odd-duck here and say I prefer multi-player. I also happen to think that Yahtzee's oft quoted line of "Any full price game should be able to hold it's own on single player only" is just outdated and downright silly. I guess I just don't understand it, but seriously, how the hell does that make sense?

Vastly prefer single player, but a good multiplayer tacked on to a great single player campaign is always a nice bonus (like AC:Brotherhood for example.)

I will NOT buy a game that is only multiplayer, or with a very weak single-player mode. I Like it when the devs put something together for me that I can enjoy even when the internet dies.

Single player! I've pretty much given up on FPS's because of there focus on the multiplayer. At least until Ep 3 Or as it most likely will be now half life 3.

I'm pretty much with yahtzee on multiplayer a good multplayer portion should be a bonus not the be all and end all.

I dislike other people, so multiplayer doesn't appeal to me all that much.
I'll take singleplayer over multi any day.

Solo, in fact most the games i play rarely have a multiplayer option. I prefer storylines, and not having to engage with the idiots you get online is an added bonus to me.

That said i own MW2, TF2 and L4D1+2 so i don't detest multiplayer, its just its rarely in my interests.

Mostly single player, but I play the occasional multiplayer game. I don't like PvP much, though, since I've recently caught chronic pussyitis and either get mad when I lose or feel bad about the other team losing and feeling that way.

Multiplayer is nice, but singleplayer is most important to me. I want a good/ fun story with good gameplay. Online is usually fun for a few weeks but then gets boring.
