Poll: Sith Or Jedi?

Have to go Dark Side. Not evil, so much as selfish. I'd abuse those powers for personal gain on a daily basis, no doubt, and Jedi gotta be all uppity about doing that. Still, no way I'd ever so much as enter a room with a Sith in it, because while it was mentioned some of them do work together, I'm not seeing me last too long in a back-stabbing competition. So Dark Side by choice, Sith by default, but not by association.

I like to say Sith but truly IDK. So I will leave it to everyone here to figure out.

Examples:

In KotOR both 1 & 2 I am nice to my crew mostly at least the ones I like which is most of them. I find it hard to be nice to NPC's in the games unless it will benefit me in the long run then I will do it but not really wanting to.

In real life I am mostly the same way I care for none but who I am close to which is 4 people & 1 dog. Everyone else is just more of a means to and ends really what ever I can get from them. I may show a smile but I am always thinking about how best I can use the person I am meeting.


So I leave to all of you to make your own conclusions on this.

In actuality, there is no rule against Consensual sex within the Jedi ranks, just to emotional attachment, so you can screw whoever you want as often as you want, so long as they agree and that there isn't any cuddling afterwards.

Light side because then I can hunt down the sith. Also, the sith have a habit of killing their own people and being pricks, both of which I wouldn't want to be a part of.

Also, I would like a blue or green lightsaber and not be constrained to a red lightsaber and black clothing.

What is this Light side and Dark side? There is no such thing, there is only the force.

Fanatics try to tell you that the Force is split and divided against itself when such a thing is impossible.

"Lightsiders" would have you embrace a monk-ish lifestyle and hide away from the realities of the the world.

"Darksiders" would have you embrace base desires and become a beast.

I take the only true path. I walk the division between both.

I prefer to be a good guy, but to do it on my own terms. I had no idea there was such a thing as a Grey Jedi, but that sounds exactly what I would want to be.

There is. Normally, the Grey Jedi are people who have either trained, or who trained themselves, OUTSIDE of the order. They usually have no overriding morals, such as the dark and light side of the force, and work for themselves.

As for me, Sith. Quite frankly the power to shoot lightning bolts, and to choke people... mmmm... sadism...

The Sith have just got the better deal quite frankly. That and the Sith can do what they want really, there's nothing in the Sith handbook that says "KILL EVERYTHING".

Jedi because I get the chance to overthrow the empire when it rears its head in for the 100th fucking time. The sith are like the people you don't want near you but they always manage to find you.

I voted light but I wouldn't actually fit in with either the sith or the jedi. I would ultimately be 'good' which rules the sith out but I also disagree with the jedi stance against experiencing emotions such as love and anger.

Emotions play such a huge part in shaping your world that I couldn't imagine trying to be block them out completely. It's like no one in Star Wars understands the notion of self control. You can hate something without it turning you evil!

Wouldn't want to be either really.
Sith - Corrupted and ultimatly eaten up and destroyed by power.
Jedi - Tons of rules including no romance and intimacy.

If I had force powers I'd just want to use em to be an awesome racer and for cheesy pick-up lines.
