size zero is just way to unattractive... It's not even about the disgusting way their body looks.. But I like a woman that's active.. and no woman who looks like that could be active even if they wanted to...

Not really
Im a bulky guy, i want to be kind of built but not riped
I dont think much of them, whatever makes them happy i guess
i dunno, they got what they wanted and i dont really care

Not really, i dont mind women being a little chubby, but i prefer an average body for women not skinny or fat just average

No
I think it is ridiculous and anyone who is that thin should only be so by genetics and not by their own choosing as if you do not get that thin by genetics you are probably severely malnurished.
I think it is ridiculous and pointless and will probably destory their body in the first place but it is their choice to do so.
If that is the life they choose then fair enough.
I do not find size zero attractive. There has to come a point where everyone draws their line and says they are too thin but size zero is a bit too far to draw that line in my opinion well by choice as I acknowledge some people are like that due to their lifestyle/genetics and not a self image choice.

Male or female? Male
Are you trying to achieve size zero? Nope
Why/Why not? I'm an athlete - strength and fitness is the way to go. Looking good comes with that, not starving yourself. Right now I'm a bit overweight and out of shape due to a few years behind a desk, which is being fixed by lots of healthy eating and exercise.
What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero? Stupid and dangerously unhealthy.
What's your view of others who have achieved size zero? See below
And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive? It depends entirely on the girl.

I went to uni with a girl who is stick thin - she had basically no body fat, and weighed about 55kg while being about 5'9. However she was healthy, ate plenty (more then me) and was extremely athletic and active (dance and cheerleading) - she just had a naturally thin body and a fast metabolism. I went to the beach with her a few times and in a bikini she looks exactly how those models are TRYING to look - slim but correctly proportioned.

I actually ran into her the other day - still skinny as she used to be and looks fantastic.

However.. girls who starve themselves to attain that stick thin look when their body shape is clearly not are just plain unattractive.

Perfect example is my girlfriends sister - looking at pictures of her from a few years she is an absolute knockout - a very pretty girl. However she went on a diet before getting married, dropped 10 kilos and it just doesn't suit her. Her face looks gaunt, he breats have gone from full and attractive to looking like they're just hanging off her chest and overall she's just less attractive.

So yes - naturally skinny girls look fine. Those that force themselves to be do not.

edit: oh and guys? Same applies, though you see less of it. Fit and healthy is best, regardless of your body shape.

If you find that attractive, you're probably suffering from necrophilia

Also yeah, male and what-not. Got no issues with people trying to hit size 0... on the other hand I've got no issues with people trying to kill themselves either.

I won't say "I like fatties" as I find the opposite extreme of size 0 equally disturbing, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and although I prefer men and women to be more on the skinny size, skeleton-size is a definite no-no and a sign of some form of disturbance (as is anyone in XXXXL section as well)
BLLLEEEEGGGHHHHH *wipe* NO!

- Classified.
- Absolutely not.
- Because I don't want to be that thin/unhealthy.
- Sad. They should not have to go that far to be happy with their body-image
- They tend to be unhealthy and unattractive. People who have made themselves suffer in the name of some society expectation.
- I don't see how anyone could find that attractive.

OT: I didn't mention this earlier, but... Size Zero is just way too skinny for my taste. In case it wasn't obvious i'm quite fond of a nice round tushie ;3

Because I don't want to go outside and be blown away on a windy day.
They don't like eating or being able to ride safely in roller coasters.

Male or female?
Female

Are you trying to achieve size zero?
Hell no.

Why/Why not?
Because I don't think I should have to starve myself just to fit into some unrealistic view on what women should look like.
Also, I like food...

What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero?
Yeeeaaah... Have fun with that.

What's your view of others who have achieved size zero?
They look so hungry :(

And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive?
Dear gods, no.

I entered this thinking "the hell does size zero mean..."
And saw a picture. It was gross as gross gets. Made me thing of dead things.

So the answer is a big, solid NO.

I hadn't actually heard of "size 0" before this thread o_O

Male or female?
Male
Are you trying to achieve size zero?
Nope, though I am trying to loose some weight (My BMI was at 24.3 or so last time I checked, so it's not like it would hurt >_>)
Why not?
This newly discovered size (for me) freaks me out... Certainly can't be healthy.
What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero?
Their body, their choice.
What's your view of others who have achieved size zero?
Again, their body, their choice. Just stay the hell outta my field of vision! D:
And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive?
NO. I like to see 'em bones on my PC screen after givin' you a small dose of radiation thank you very much. (X-rays and such, in case you didn't get the joke).

Also I'd be afraid of breaking said person in two with a hug or rip his/her arm off with a handshake O__o

Female.

Fuck no.

I have a tiny build as it is, my ribcage is small, I can even slightly see my ribs and my collarbones/shoulderbones are both visible and I can feel them through my skin. I just need to start exercising and lay off the coke.

I... don't know. I think they have a messed up image of themselves and might need help, really. It isn't so much a goal as an eating disorder.

If they're naturally thin, what'cha gotta do? They're probably healthy anyway, so I don't see the problem. The people that have reached it by forcing themselves into it are basically torturing their own bodies. Their loss, though.

God, no, it looks abominable! I think it's disgusting. Kim Kardashian is an attractive woman - walking skeletons are not.

I'm not really aware of the whole size zero thing but anyway:

Male.
Nope.
I'm relatively comfortable with how I look.
Well, it's their body but I wouldn't want to see any of my friends becoming anorexic or something.
I've never met any, but someone posted a picture that physically disturbed me.
...Not terribly.

Well, I'm not sure what a 'size zero' would equate to, for a man, but I'm 6'0", 165lbs, and I have ~30" waist measurement. Mind you, I wear a men's large at the neck, a medium and the base of my ribcage, a small at the waist, and I require a minimum of a 32" in-seam on my pants.

On the other hand, my girlfriend has told me that she's functionally a 'size zero' or 'double zero', but she's 5'3", and 120lbs; she did, however, point out that sizing conventions for womens clothing(in North America, at least) have changed over the last 10 years, with what used to be a size 4 now being approximately a size 1, IIRC.

It's not attractive at all. Girls are supposed to have curves (not in the fat sense of the word though) and have parts on them. Even without the aesthetic side of things, it can't be healthy.

El_Moss said:

You know what? I think it's sad. I have a friend who was and still is severely damaged by anorexia. She would starve herself because she wanted to be a model. She looks like a corpse and posts photos of her on modelling websites and people say to her "oh my god! You look so good!". I fail to see how a girl who can't even get out of bed and will probably die an early death looks "so good".

El_Moss said:

As long as they did it a healthy way and are still healthy then I guess good for them. But the fact that they have probably been influenced by awful peer pressure and the fact it's not pretty is very sad.

Not at all.
