I'm going to assume that this is not relevant to smaller people who are just naturally that thin already, and don't look like they just climbed out of a grave.

Male or female? Male
Are you trying to achieve size zero? No
Why/Why not? It looks disgusting.
What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero? They should seek help with their insecurity.
What's your view of others who have achieved size zero? If they want to look like a walking corpse, more power to them. It's nothing to do with me really. Just don't expect me to approve.
And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive? Nope (referring to the unhealthy kind of course, not people who are just naturally that size)

Male or female? - Female.
Are you trying to achieve size zero? - Uh, no.
Why/Why not? - I'm already damn near anorexic as I can get without being so, and I'm a size 3. > >
What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero? - They're loopy.
What's your view of others who have achieved size zero? - They're loopy.
And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive? - No. You can't fit a nice ass in a size 0.

No. It's not attractive, and it's not healthy for either sex.

As for my own personal tastes, I like a woman who looks like a woman. Not a 12 year old boy, a woman. That means CURVES. Hips. Something that screams femininity. A size 0 does none of those things. Obesity is not attractive, sure, but a woman should never be self-conscious of a paunch, or a handle. Femininity is beautiful, bottom line, and that's what drives guys crazy. Not dress size. Not cup size. It lies within the inherent, natural beauty of a woman.

I could really go on forever about this. I hate models, and "carbon copy" women. Have some individuality and embrace yourself for a change, damn it.

Male or female? -- Male.
Are you trying to achieve size zero? -- No.
Why/Why not? -- I see no sense in such a course of action, it would be counterproductive, among other things.
What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero? -- Thats their problem.
What's your view of others who have achieved size zero? -- Thats their problem.
And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive? -- No. But, its their body, and its their decision.

By todays clothing ratings that isn't size 0. It's much smaller. This is size 0:

Is that attractive?

I voted for the "all women" choice, because I find the proportionate female body a joy, in a wide range of sizes.

I've always been thin, sometimes to the point of danger; at the moment I'm about 9 stone, and all I wanna do is put on weight
Public service announcement to the non-British: a "stone" is 14 lbs, so 9 st is 126 lbs.
Seriously guys, get with the metric system! Powers of 10 are not as difficult as they may seem!

OT:

Sex: Male
Me trying: Hells no
Why: I choose life
Others trying: Not gonna stop you, but will raise an eyebrow
Others who are: As long as it makes you feel good
Attractive: Full hips & breasts are attractive. Exposed bones are scary.

EDIT: The stone explanation may be late owing to the fact that I am an idiot who failed to notice 3 other pages of responses.

You aren't doing represention research for English Language A levels by any chance?
As a matter of fact it's for media, but I am taking an A-Level in English Language so maybe it'll be a good thing to come back to at some point if need be. :p

- Female.
- No.
- Because I already AM size zero.
- Anyone attempting to become THIS thin really needs to consider the pros and cons. Will it make them feel better? If so, go for it.
- Yay more people like me!
- Absolutely yes.

1. Male
2. Nope
3. It's gross and I'd look worse than I do now.
4. Go for it if you want to. Not my problem.
5. Don't care.
6. Only to those with a fetish for boniness. I prefer a little meat on those bones.

Male or female?
Female

Are you trying to achieve size zero?
I care more about health than my waistline.

Why/Why not?
See above.

What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero?
If it's healthy for their body type more power to them.

What's your view of others who have achieved size zero?
See above.

And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive?
If they look more hungry than a child in Sudan, it's fucking disgusting.
But that's just my opinion.

Male or female? Female
Are you trying to achieve size zero? No
Why/Why not? Because I'm only 2 sizes bigger than size 0 and I'm already getting people telling me that I'm too skinny. It isn't attractive to look snappable.
What's your view of others trying to achieve size zero? I feel sorry for them.
What's your view of others who have achieved size zero? Well done I guess.
And most importantly, is size zero actually attractive? Not in my opinion. I think it's unhealthy and just not attractive.

no.
Why not? because I don't know what a size zero is and could care less, really.
My view: unless you're SERIOUSLY overweight, there's little need to lose weight (unless you're trying to tighten and tone your body). if you have achieved size zero, good for you. I'm comfortable weighing somewhere between 160 and 170.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that size zero is as attractive as a more proportionate body. would someone as thin as a pencil look more attractive with basketballs for breasts? i know I'm exaggerating this as an example, but there's thin and then there's absurd. I had this one friend who was so obsessed with being thin that she thought a size 2 was meant for women as fat and as ugly as wildebeests. Something about society and the bullshit images we all see on front covers of FHM, Maxim, and every women's magazine ever thrown on shelves gives people (Mostly women. High school girls being the most impressionable) the idea that you must look like this to be the pinnacle of "hotness", starting with your size, then cup size.... whatever.

Be happy *AND* healthy. If weight needs to be lost, make sure its for health reasons. Because the other way to make you skinny quick (outside of surgery) is crack/meth/etc... and once you're off that stuff, you'll be back to your old size or end up twice as huge.

It's relative. I've found tiny chicks attractive, as well as slightly overweight ones.
